Excellent atmosphere and menu. Tried the baby carrots, roasted beets, and brussel sprouts for starters. Drinks from the bar were expertly prepared. I had an old fashioned and really enjoyed it and the presentation. Our main courses combated if the chick pea falafel and the shrimp enchiladas. The coconut rice was a great side. Some of the dishes have some heat so just make sure you all the staff when ordering.
Definitely would recommend the Junction.
Came here for the Charlottesville restaurant week and was so glad I did! Relaxed yet an appropriate southwesterny atmosphere with great food! The lobster and corn fritter which I chose as my appetizer was amazing, from the light and crisp fritters packed with lobster to the creamy yet refreshing sauce that accompanied it. The flourless chocolate cake that I chose as my dessert was also mouthwatering. It resembled a lava cake with a melted and soft inside and the dulce de leche that was scraped alongside it just rounded out the flavor perfectly alongside a dallop of whipped cream! Would definitely recommend this place, especially the restaurant week deal!
I came with a friend for brunch, and was very pleased! We had to wait for a minute or so for the host to come out and seat us, but he was very kind, as was our waitress. The huevos rancheros were delicious, and the portions were a great size. I will definitely be back!
We loved this place! The whole atmosphere is awesome from the second you walked in. The staff were great to interact with and you could tell they enjoyed being there. We were seated upstairs which had a good view and a great server. We ordered plates to share and drinks. One guest of the group didn't care for her drink and they kindly replaced it free of charge. Now that's great service. The food all came out quickly along with additional drinks. I hope to visit here again next time!
We went for restaurant week and it was our first time there. Spicy fried chicken with cheese grits and Ancho-chili slaw was great! Awesome ceviche too! Drinks could be stronger but still good. Trendy, popular spot in coveted Belmont area of Charlottesville. Latin-fusion.
Lovely 💖place , excellent food , friendly staffs will go back soon ! Need to Try more dishes from their menu and their cocktails too
Recently had brunch here and it was amazing! I went with a relatively large group (seven people) and not only did all of our food come out at the same time but our waitress was happy (or at least pretended to be) to split our check up four ways at the end of our meal. I ordered "The Yankee" which is the classic bacon and eggs, plus biscuits and gravy, everything was amazing! They are also quickly becoming known for their amazing chicken and waffles.
