I've had the immense pleasure of eating home cooked Korean food. I think it rare that any restaurant can meet such a level of comparison, and I will temper my comments with that in mind.
The space is very welcoming and clean.
The staff are attentive.
My student son picked the eatery and I think it fair to say that he is the intended audience.
But you know what, I had a great time, a new beer, enjoyed my meal and had a wonderful evening with my family!
Recommend my experience to anyone.

Great service. Ambiance was enjoyable. They were really accommodating. We realized quickly we should have gotten a reservation but they sat us front row to the open kitchen and served us quickly. After our initial drink order we weren't asked again for another. They were busy so it was understandable. We ordered too much. Nice portion sizes. But honestly couldn't find room on the table and the server didn't help to make room. Clearing the empty beer cans and water jug for entrées would help. Food was pretty good. Kinda heavy on the sugar and lacked the stronger flavors you hope for with Korean cooking. Like I said they were busy and I bet at a slower time those dishes would come out packed with flavor.
Overall good job guys. Tighten up that service and replace sugar with flavor for high marks

Seriously I’m majorly impressed!!! Everything about my meal blew me out of the way. The wings were everything and the spicy pork was better than the K BBQ I had in DC. I’m so glad I came here! Well worth it.

This place is pretty authentic! Or atleast as authentic as you can get around Charlottesville. If your looking for a warm and homey atmosphere this place if the way to go. The waiters are quick to serve and are extremely respectful to the customers, they make sure you are satisfied with your experience. I recommend you go during the week days if given the chance, since this place is in a college town it gets quite packed on weekends. If you’re new to Korean food I recommend going in easy with the tteokbokki! It has perfectly cooked rice cakes, (I recommend cheese on top) with a bit of a kick when it comes to spice. The portions are very generous and I can guarantee you will leave full! Doma is on the more high priced side, but arguably it is worth it. 10/10 experience when the timely wait is put aside!

Bibimbap tastes good, descent price. Was expecting complementary kimchi with the order like in most Korean restaurant, which was not the case. Serving was quick. You can see your food being cooked in front of you.

Had the Doma Bokum Udon with spicy red pepper sauce and chicken, and my girlfriend had the Dak Galbi with tofu. By far the best Korean food we've ever had. The place handled our group of 18 well and served us quickly. If I lived in the area I would gladly come back all the time.
