How could you possibly go wrong here? With their vast selection of beers on tap you are easily able to find something to your liking. The pour your own serving style is very fun, and the technology behind it was fascinating as well. I think I spent a good amount of time just watching the screens and seeing how it worked.
The food was nothing short of fantastic. We happened to go there during their happy hour (which was a pleasant surprise) and for the price we paid for the tater tots and 18 wings we were all very satisfied.
I know where I’m going next time I am in the area!

Very relaxed setting. They have a ton of self serving beer tap selections that are color coded! College atmosphere when I was there however there were older people as well. I walked over with a few physician colleagues after a medical conference and lets just say we were overdressed for the night out!

Loved it! So cool that you pour your own beer so you get as little or as much as you like. They've got board games, tons of TVs and children are welcome. One little girl was coloring the floor with chalk!! So cool

Charlottesville Draft Taproom is the spot to check out for anyone that wants to try as many beers as possible while having options to watch sports and play board games. Their outdoor seating is great for enjoying the warm weather. The service was excellent and I could easily understand why the place was so popular when I was there on an early Saturday night.

Absolutely incredible. Fantastic and fun experience, great way to enjoy all different kinds of beers. Very well priced, seamless implementation.
They have clearly thought things out very well when planning this place. Great space, TV's along the top of every wall, 60 taps, all different kind of drinking glasses (including flight glasses and holders), super simple card system, multiple different ways of presenting the different beers and styles (e.g. color coding, paper list, TV lists), great food for great prices.
Seriously, if you like beer or cider, you cannot avoid checking this place out.

A very neat idea. Self-pour beer and you pay for however much you pour. Able to try a lot of beer that way but half the taps were malfunctioning when we were there. More expensive than most beer places

A different approach to draft beer but once you get the idea, you want all bars to work this way. Get a card and pour your own in a variety of different glass sizes, so you only pay for ounces you drink. Food very good too.

Great place to try out beer and explore the different flavor profiles and nose. A good way to sample the area and regions craft beer scene. Prices are very reasonable for what you get to experience, especially considering the location. Great bang for your buck.
Service is good. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They put their tips towards charity rather than exploiting their employees and making them work for it.
Theirs food also but it's a bit more of a mix of dive bar meets bistro kind of a deal. They are not trying to take themselves too seriously but not a total grease platter too. The overall atmosphere is an open bright sports bar.
