Tacos El Regio - Charlotte - Photo album

I hadn't visited in ages, so first of all, I'm glad to say the food is still just as delicious as I remember (but whew, I did not remember the salsa on the Tlaquepaque tacos being quite so spicy - and I *love* spicy). They were incredibly busy during our visit, so we wound up having to wait about th
The best tacos I have ever in the US! My family is from Monterrey and I can say this place nailed it! Tacos de trompo that taste just like the ones back in Monterrey. The owner was very kind and attentive. Service was great! Small place but def exceeded expectations.
This was a place I tried on a whim. It was great! We were greeted immediately by a smiling, friendly, waitress. She proceeded to give us excellent service. The menu was unique, the atmosphere was fun, and the restaurant was super clean. It's a fairly small place, but that makes it feel cozy and comf
Food is delicious. Their food is as close as it can be from Monterrey. The Papa Asada (Steak Potato) is so good. Tacos of course are the best specially Tacos de trompo. The place is always packed so you need to be prepared to wait a couple minutes (be patient) it is worth the wait.
We tried tacos al pastor, tacos de carne asada and quesadillas. Tacos al pastor are not the authentic trompo mexico city tacos but flavor was good and the tortillas too. Their salsa was great. A big plus was the avocado in the quesadillas. We ordered for take out.
I went with my mom for lunch, was amazing. Very delicious and generous portions. The horchata was also delicious. Love those tacos 🌮😋. Definitely will be going back
Great authentic northern Mexican food. Very daring of them to have the "trompo". I'm used to the tortillas being a bit more cooked, but that's just my taste. Recommend for any taco lover. Watch out for their salsa as they are a above average on the spice scale- their green salsa puts some red ones t
Friendly and prompt service. Our food was good but some of the meat lacked seasoning so I had to dress those tacos up with a lot of sauce. Overall a good experience. There is better in the city.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE I tried real Mexican food with special flavor from Monterrey. The owners are friendly and work in the restaurant, their Tacos al pastor are delicious and some times they offer homemade Tepache which is a pineapple type of drink. KEEP IN MIND This is no upscale restaurant,
Service with a smile! Jeez, we were eating within fifteen minutes or thereabouts. Not fast food... but fast. About as authentic as it gets. Can't say enough good things about it.
April 28, 2023 was the day I had really good tacos in the US. Authentic Mexican tacos and great service. Keep that ‘trompo’ spinning! 🌮 Bonus: For those who like to have their dinner late at night, this place is an option.
Really good food. Very nice hostess who was also our waitress. This is for the Monroe location.
First time being here. Tacos were on point!!! Good tacos are hard to find. Staff was very nice. Place was semi full. Food came out quick . Everyone was satisfied with their food. It’s in a little mini mall area in the very far corner in the back can easily be missed. Will definitely be coming back s
Muy buena comida!! This is authentic northern Mexican food. The owners are from Monterrey and you can tell in the food and style of presentation, they aren’t messing around! This is pura comida Regia. If this is your first time visiting, get “La Campechana”. It is a flour tortilla, cheese, carne asa
Best tacos in Charlotte!!!! Services was amazing!!!
My wife and I went on a Sunday night for dinner and the tacos were fantastic and service was good even though the restaurant was super busy. Definitely will be going back. It does suck that they do not open Mon -Wednesday.
