My husband & I came out of state to Charlotte and this location in South End had just opened and it’s amazing! We got the flight of white wine and all of them were great choices- very refreshing! Nacquan was great he spent time talking to us even though the place was busy. Would highly recommend !
This place is hands down the best wine store in Charlotte. I have been visiting for several years and always get the best service. Everyone that works here is very wine knowledgeable and very helpful if you give them some direction in terms of what you want. I always know that whatever price point I pick, if it's on their shelf, it will be the best of that category. It's also a great place to chill and have a few glasses of wine (and learn from the team about what you are drinking).
My husband and I just visited Petit for a date night outing, and we couldn’t have enjoyed a better time. The two gentlemen that were working were beyond knowledgeable about the wines we asked about, and their service was impeccable. Years ago I had visited and wasn’t super wowed by the service, but we are both thrilled we tried it last week. You have made lifetime customers out of us! Amazing wine and amazing people. This family owned wine and chocolate shop is absolutely outstanding in service and selection. Whether you are searching for a bottle for the night, a gift or starting a collection this is the place to go. All wines are hand selected and wonderful. Great pricing and service is beyond compare.
This is a tremendous wine & chocolate shop. Not since our favorite neighborhood shop closed have we felt so comfortable at a wine store. The service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the wine was great, and the chocolates were simply outstanding. Can't say enough good things - don't pass this place by.
My wife and I visited this store for our 15-year anniversary. Gregory and Alex hosted us in a memorable way and shared an exquisite hand-selected assortment of wine and truffles. They know their stuff and explained the origin of each bottle, the differences in their locations in France, and really made the night a memorable one!
Extremely special spot. Family run and great attention to detail. Delicious chocolates unlike any I've ever tasted. Really thoughtful and personal wine suggestions. As an out-of-towner, I wish there was a place like Petit Philippe where I live. Thankfully, they ship!
If you love wine and chocolate this place will become your favorite place in Charlotte. The service is impeccable, the wine is extraordinary, and the chocolate could rival for a girls best friend! You owe it to yourself to experience P2 - it has become my go to spot on the hard days, the great days...and well the inbetween days too! They have wines in every price point, which make for great gifts!
The owner was very kind and knowledgeable! We were visiting from out of town and wanted to try this out. Unfortunately, tastings are only on the weekends but the owner gave us a free chocolate made by his wife. They were OUTSTANDING!! Best customer service. Thank you! We will be back
Ooh la la loved!!!! What's better than wine & chocolate??? Nothing I can think of. And it's all right here. In a lovely setting made to sit back , relax and savor. Very extensive selection of both wine and chocolate. Creative flavor combos on the chocolate, very well thought out because they really pair well with the wines. I was on vaca so I wanted something special, I got a Spanish sparkling rose and a pink champagne ganache & a black forest ganache, both went beautifully with the wine. A really special place, nice service, real attention to detail in the way the chocolates are decorated to the total atmosphere overall. I'd love to go back when I'm in town again.
