This was by far the best african food i have had. I read the reviews before going and to be honest i think they are wrong. This is the true african culture coming to life on your plate. The jollof rice, chicken and plantains were amazing. So much flavor. Cooked with true culture. The only thing i can tell you is to go and experience it for yourself. The owners are not mean and they are very humble and sweet. They care. I looooved this place!! The restuarant was clean and decorated to help you better experience yhe African culture!

So, I’ve never tried African food before. I walk in like the big, fat, dummy that I am and said, “I’ve never had this before, what do you suggest?” The lady behind the counter was helpful and had a great energy about her. Very friendly. She asked me if i liked spice and I said yes. She let me try the Jollof before i got it to make sure. OMG, it was delicious. Spicy, oh God it was spicy. I had the beef and chicken with it and both were excellent. You can tell they care about the food they make and take pride in it. I will definitely return. Well done!

Truthfully, I give 4 stars due to the food being AMAZING and customer service being ehh ok. This was our first time eating fufu & egusi soup. Figured we’d try it for the New Year! I called our order in, she said it’ll be 30 minutes. which is perfect because i’m only 30 minutes away. We get there super excited to get our food and run back home to try it! The Lady was on the phone for about 6-7 minutes giving us no type of acknowledgment!! I thought that was a bit off but we were excited so we looked passed it. Then she began to make our plates. it’s going on 10 minutes now *this is why i called it in* . She then gets ready to swipe my card. I kindly tried to hand it to her but she proceeded to say in a non-customer service way ,“When I am ready 😐”, Then took my card right after saying that. If I’m paying close to $50 for some food I’ve never had before at a place I’ve never been before I expect the customer service to match the amazing food. I would go back for the food. But next time I hope the atmosphere is more welcoming,

Giving it a 5 the food was bussin 😋 went around 4ish had the chicken with fufu. I was very satisfied I think the spot itself needs a little more love but honestly the food distracted me I absolutely loved it ❤️. Don't be like me lol know what everything is called educated yourself before trying to order please. 🤭

As a first generation Nigerian kid who doesn't get to go home very often to have my mom's home cooked meals, I absolutely loved loved the food here! I had the jollof rice, moi moi, beef and tripe and it was perfectly cooked. For everyone wondering about the friendliness of the service, since I've seen a few negative reviews about that, Nigerian culture is very different from American culture. We are not overly boisterous and dramatically friendly. It's just a different culture but I had great service and the great food and wish they had one where I lived in Raleigh. Definitely would recommend to friends and family!

We were there at lunchtime. We had never eaten African food before. We were not sure what to order. Took us a while to figure out what we wanted. The woman behnd the counter was a bit standoffish at first, but warmed up to us. I believe English is her second language. We settled on the soup with three meats. The food had great flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The lunch menu was a bit limited. We will be back for dinner to try the full menu.

Absolutely LOVED this place!❤Great food cooked from scratch! I was so full that I couldn't finish what I had so I took it home! It's crazy to say though, I was full but I still felt light. The herbs and spices that they use in the food and juice had me feeling really good (coconut and ginger juice)! I recomend this resturant to everyone!

I liked it. Never eaten west African food before. It is based on rice dishes from what I could see. You add different "stews" or "soups" to the rice. The service was good. It's cafeteria style where you chose as you look at whats on display. About $15 per head
