I went here about 3 weeks ago for my mother's 70th birthday. My sister and niece were with us. None of us have had Ethiopian food. This restaurants food is probably one of the very best foods I've ever had! I absolutely loved it! My mother sister and niece also loved it. We ate the authentic way with the injera bread and our hands. The atmosphere of this restaurant is adorable; they have it decorated very nicely with Ethiopian decor. They have a little section for coffee. Who I believe to be the owner made our food fresh after we ordered it. She did not speak great English but she understood what we wanted and was very helpful to us to order. I am vegan and they definitely had vegan choices. They also had an Ethiopian honey wine which appeared to be a homemade type drink and my sister loved it. I had some Ethiopian coffee at the end of my meal and it was delicious. This place helped to make my mother's 70th birthday memorable. This place is pretty far from me in North Carolina but I do plan to go back and visit it for sure.

If you are interested in trying some great Ethiopian food this is it! I had ordered beef tips spicy with a veggie plate as well. Beef tips were tasty and delicious (good quality beef) not chewy whatsoever. Veggie plate had a amazing selection of vegetables. No complaints from me. This place is a hidden jewel.

One of the best unique experiences in Charlotte. The food is great, definitely try the avocado salad, a unique item many Ethiopian restaurants do not make in this specific manner. In addition they do Ethiopian coffee ceremony another very special experience rarely seem in the USA. The owners are good people that treat you like you are in their house.

queen sheba ethiopian restaurant & bar on central avenue is always a beautiful experience! it’s my favorite ethiopian spot in charlotte. the food is very flavorful and the customer service is great! i enjoy the quiet, intimate setting and the vegan platter/veggie plate is fresh and a little spicy — love that! if you’re in the charlotte area, please make sure you support!

The owner of the restaurant was super friendly the place is kind of old but feels like home the owner made sure my family was comfortable food came out 15 minutes later hot and fresh and tasty the kids really enjoyed this experience and want to return

So, so delicious! I wish I got a picture but I ate everything up so fast. Everything was super fresh and the service was awesome. They are so sweet and kind here and I can’t wait to eat there again!
