WUNDERBAR! Strudelteig must mean "absolutely delicious" in German. Our group tried every item on the menu this evening outside Cabarrus Brewing Company and we were blown away by the taste and quality. These are Austrian/German recipes handed down from the owner's grandmother, and it shows. The spaetzle (noodles) are homemade and perfectly textured; the gulasch was rich, meaty, and fall-apart tender; and the quiche, salmon, and "pizza" (more of a calzone) were happily devoured by adults and children alike. The finale was the scrumptious apple strudel with a traditional warm vanilla custard sauce. I lived in Germany and traveled through Austria, and Strudelteig is as authentic as it gets. If they add Dampfnudeln, I might start following the truck around like a groupie!
The Bavarian Pretzel Melt was a deliciously savory and a great addition to the mornings at the Matthews Community Farmers’ Market. Looking forward to going back and trying something from their sweet menu.
Their Bratwurst is really delicious 😋 just like I remember it from Germany. We enjoyed their sauerkraut and pickled beets as well. And for dessert try their strudel, the best one you will ever have in the area. 😋
Chicken Schnitzel and the pretzel with beer cheese fondue — best I have ever had on both accounts. Easily the best German food in North Carolina. Every now and then they do a bratwurst burger or pork schnitzel. It’s not always available though. Friendly staff — they were very busy with long lines this past week, but it’s always worth the wait.
We discovered Strudelteig during quarantine and have loved everything we’ve ordered! The pretzels are amazing and the chicken schnitzel is a family favorite. Great service and food is always super fresh. Highly recommend!
Schnitzel and sauerkraut were fantastic, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her pretzel melt. Pricing might seem high for a food truck, but the portions were filling and the food was top-notch.
The food and service is amazing. I ordered catering for our company's social distance Oktoberfest, they arrived with the food truck and prepared some of the hot food to be served. The quality and taste was amazing. Get the brats and chicken, you won't be disappointed.

I have loved their sausage but not very filling on their own a not really much else to offer that's not heavy with bread for the gluten sensitive. But the bangers and mash you guys made last time you were down at dreamchasers were phenomenal!! Please keep making it 😁
Pretzel with brat and kraut was great (and mostly organic!!). Dessert strudel was still a bit frozen, so a little disappointing. I intend to warm it up at home and expect it will be excellent.
Caught this food truck one night at King Canary! The wait was a little long but totally worth it!
