This is truly one of my go to spots. I love the small town feel and the service is spectacular. Now when it comes to the food, completely magnificent, idea Southern Style dishes as well a large array of options in the vegetable area. I can't tell you enough about this place, you have to go and check it out!
A gem of a home cooking restaurant in East Town Market on W.T. Harris Blvd. On Monday I had pot roast with cinnamon baked apples and black eyed peas. Yesterday I had beef tips over rice with green beans and mac and cheese. Everything was super, and the yeast rolls were great as well. This place is great!
Service was fast and friendly. The prices were cheap. $4.95 for two eggs, bacon and a gravy biscuit. The biscuits were soft, just the way I like them. We were here on Easter Sunday before 10am and it was not crowded.
Very good chicken salad sub. The country fried steak was flavorful with plenty of milk gravy. Tasty cream potatoes and collard greens. I'm disabled and the waitress brought the food to my car
This is a good breakfast spot. The service was good and the person was friendly. I have nothing bad to say about it. This is a down home southern atmosphere. Yes, I would go again.
Tasty food. Low prices. An older restaurant in appearance, but food was hot and fresh. Staff very friendly. Breakfast hit the spot. Diverse customer base. Great place to take your dad/son/kids for a good breakfast without breaking the bank.
I love this family restaurant. They have a great selection of delicious foods at affordable prices. The atmosphere is nice and it's in a good area.
When you need comfort food, a super fresh salad, or yummy dessert…. This is the spot. My personal favourite is the calabash shrimp salad! All served up by a friendly, helpful staff.
Service was great. It wasn't very busy though. Fried pickles were amazing!!!! The kids pizza was mediocre. But the burgers we had were really good!
This was my first time visiting, by mistake actually, (I was looking for a different restaurant) and I was pleasantly surprised! All of the waitresses were very welcoming and my waitress Brook, who was amazing, helped me choose a patty melt and it was so delicious 😋. This place is a diamond in the rough. I am so happy that I stumbled upon it. Definitely will be back to try more menu items.
