I am from out of town and took a walk this morning to find something healthy for breakfast. I came across your food truck and had to take a look. I love the food truck concept so was very intrigued. I ordered the Rainbow Bowl and added almond butter. Seriously, this is one of the most delicious meals I have ever had!! Nothing beats granola, fresh fruit, creamy almond butter and their amazing semi-frozen acai mixture (?) at the bottom of the bowl. I could eat this every day! Outstanding job - Rico's Acai!
My husband and I went to the Pecan Ave location. This was our first time at Ricos and it was great o got the rainbow bow and he got the protein bowl. All the fruit was fresh and staff was great offering suggestions for substitutions. Pricey but there's nothing like it in the city and it later worth it. It took about 10 min with only one person I for the of us I would highly recommend this place
Rico's Acai was a really pleasant experience.
1. The bowls are delicious! The fruit is very fresh and you feel great after eating these bowls. As others have mentioned there is not a great deal of Acai in the bowl! It tastes so good it leaves you wanting a bit more.
2. They are fairly pricey. However, the fruit here is a bit more fresh than some other places in the area. I think the prices are pretty good for what you get.
3. Customer service was excellent, however, we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for our order to be fulfilled. They have outdoor seating so you can wait for your food or enjoy your order on nice days.
The rainbow bowl is my favorite. All of the fruit is fresh, cut in small pieces and the Acai so refreshing. 🌈🍓🍍🍌🥝🫐
This place never seems to disappoint me. The last time I was in NC I googled acai bowl and found their little hidden truck and it was great then and it's still great now. Their acai bowls lack nothing! Beyond delicious, but; you don't have to take my word for it. More for me I always say🤤

The food was delicious, but the service was even better! We had such a kind young person who served us. I think I recall their name being, Polly maybe? she made the food perfectly, and she made lovely conversation with us as well. such a good atmosphere.
Loved this place! Fruit was cut fresh and the staff were very friendly!
Tried it for the first time and my bowl was absolutely perfect. Loved the shaved ice texture of the acai, the perfect crunch of small granola bits, and the picture perfect and flavorful rainbow of fruit on top. My only gripe is the cost - I can't see myself getting this often as it's quite a treat type of price point.
Rico’s is consistently good, and has fresh fruit. It’s easy to order through the app; they don’t take orders by phone just FYI. I love the Butter Bro bowl, but everything I’ve tried has been great!
This is an upscale food court with lots of innovative businesses. Tops for me was this Acai Bowl made by Rico's Acai. I think this product is the cat's meow. I had one for lunch while visiting Charlotte and I feel it constantly calling me back. Take the risk it is absolute delicious.
Awesome way to get those superfood vitamins every day. My daughter and I are completely addicted. And the small really is big enough to satisfy - sometimes, for me, it’s dinner. The Plaza Midwood location is directly on my way home from work - so convenient. I use the app to order before I leave work, and when I arrive it’s just a simple pick-up from the window. And I don’t know how they do it but the fruit is always perfectly ripe and delicious. (I particularly appreciate that there are never any mushy blueberries, my nemesis!) We love Rico’s!
