Wonderful inventive cocktails, outdoor patio, live music occasionally, dog friendly, bar gal is amazing, fairly good parking but I would ride share here so you can have fun and be safe. Oh, one of the best things is they can sell bottles of their liquor on Sunday in case you missed a trip to the liquor store during the week. They have food available also. We love supporting local.
My wife and I visited while on a brewery tour, and since I love bourbon, I'd figure I pop in. The tour guild was great. The tasting wasn't bad. We had fun overall.
In addition to their menu of specialty cocktails, GWR great place for a proper pour of Guinness. Cheap beer specials as well. Noteworthy - their pizza is super tasty, and a reason to take a trip on its own merits. An NJ native, I'm constantly searching Charlotte for good pizza, and this dough has that crispy but light and airy texture that is super hard to find around here. I hope pictures speak for themselves.
First visit, great ambience interesting tour and tasting. Cool place. The only thing I will suggest, is to make the bourbon taste less than scotch! Love the vodka. ( don’t badmouth Tito’s. Never talk bad about your competitors!)

Great time! Had a semi-private event hosted there. Food was delicious and Brian worked with me to ensure everything went smoothly. Band was great, service was great and all the staff were very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be back!
Specific shout out to Oliver! My fiancé loves all things bourbon and I reached out to book him a private tour on his bach trip. Oliver was SO communicative and so sweet. Gave them the best tour and was overall so generous. 11/10 recommend coming here!
Great bar attached to Charlotte and NC’s best malt distillery. Featuring creative drinks made with their own whiskeys and mezcal spirits (and others but these I tried) whipped up by fun friendly staff.
Bartenders are friendly, great drinks!
Shout out bobby
Stopped in on a whim on a birthday weekend. Tasted all of their spirits and an amazing Czech beer. We spent time w/ the owner who was top-notch. It's a MUST SEE
on a weekend in Charlotte. ***** Do yourself a favor and check out this under the radar spot. You're welcome.
Unlike individuals who don't know how to spell plethora, I had excellent cocktails at GWR. Broken Spoke signature cocktail was my favorite, but you really can't go wrong. Service was great, didn't have any bites but they do have a small menu if you need to cure an empty stomach. Prices are $10-13 for a generous amount of liquor, definitely worse ways to make one's pee expensive in Charlotte.
