Lisa was the absolute best!!! Omg! Me and 3 lady friends decided to try this place out! She knew the menu, suggested items, and even picked one person's meal-- spot on! We will be back!
I absolutely love this place! They are so accommodating when it comes to making sure you really love your food and drinks. The manager was super friendly and even took time to educate us on some of the beers! We really enjoyed speaking with her. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and I appreciate the fact that he consulted with the chef when I had a question about the level of spiciness on a particular meal. The customer service was phenomenal! We will definitely be back!
Had a great dinner with our group of 7. The staff was awesome. Especially Hanna our server. The food was fresh and made perfectly. Also accommodated our vegan restrictions
This is my family's favorite restaurant; the service is always fantastic, and they are really good about bringing the food to you in a timely manner. We went with a party of 6, and everyone was stuffed and happy!
The duck curry was rich and full of flavor. The side order of ramen was very good. I felt like the pad Thai was missing something but I couldn’t pinpoint it. The papaya was okay. Overall, everything was very good and the service was good.
Deejai Noodle Bar, way to go!!! My first time eating here and you guys are definitely competition to my staple Thai food restaurant I usually attend. I wish I remembered our wonderful servers' name. She was AMAZING and great energy! ( I do remember she has a bday in Aug like my bestie, and I did 🥰). Food was on point, tasty, and huge portions. I will definitely recommend this spot and I look forward to eating here again!!! Great vibe atmosphere as well. Super team there!
First off, Hanna was a great waitress. Thanks for that.
Food was very good. I’m vegan and they were very accommodating.
I had the Pad Thai
We’ll be back!
When you search for best restaurant to eat in NoDa neighborhood, Deejai would pop up for sure as one of the top choices. Ever since NoDa been gentrified, there are not a lot of parking for eateries, one of the good things about Deejai, beside their good food is they have parking space available.
Food, yes, all kind of Asian flavors, mostly Thai style I think. Also they have Sushi too. Sushi is pretty common in Charlotte area, but good bowl of noodles are harder to get.
Anything I try so far is good, especially the duck curry. Very popular. Other soap base dishes are good too. I don't know if they make their broth themselves or not, seems like it because it is not too salty like other asian restaurants.
If you are in the area, and want Asian food, this is a place for you
Food was absolutely amazing 💯. The price is well worth for the taste and size that they give you, I would definitely come back again. We also appreciate them for giving me and my friend free eggrolls when we came in for lunch.
It’s one of my favorite places to go to. It’s unfortunate that the service is a hit or miss. They are nice and very friendly but I have been left alone for over 20 mins waiting to order or for a drink in 2 different occasions.
I’ll be back because the place is a good vibe but hopefully they work on improving their service.
Right off the back, the service was amazing! We had a big group, and our server not only stayed on top of things but also matched our energy. The teas were not over brewed and refreshing. The papaya salad was refreshing with a slight kick that worked with some of the heavier dishes. To my surprise, the drunken noodles had a kick, too, but it wasn't the only flavor there. I really enjoyed the way the carrots were cut in the pad see you. Both the mango sticky rice & lava cake were freshly made and good portions.
The restaurant was well cleaned, music wasn't overly loud and with a good atmosphere.
Great location, warm atmosphere. Shelby was helpful and accommodating when I requested a modification to a sushi roll. The NoDa wontons are great as well!
