Great little hole in the wall that has been a great place for lunch as long as I can remember.
The food here is amazing and the service is really good. Can't complain at all.

I have known about Mr. G's for many, many years. They were introduced to me when I first started working at USAir now US Airways, so that's how long it has been. The guys can make that grille sizzle...by the way I am going today, I need a messy burger and fries. Yes.
I love this quaint place to get away from the office for lunch. The gyro is delicious!
Charlotte's Little Secret. This is a small family run business started in the 80's, and is tucked away off of Morris Field Dr. just off Billy Graham Parkway. Located just across the street from the National Guard Bldg it is a popular locals destination for lunch.
The food is affordable, has nice portion sizes, and is consistently good. This is my take-out location at least once a week for my staff and co-workers. From Pita burgers to wings, to the fried okra, it is always spot on for freshness and flavor. This is by far one of the best pita burgers in town.
Do yourself a favor, and if your in the area during the week for lunch, stop by and treat yourself to a good meal at a reasonable price. This is a busy place, but the service is fast, friendly, and the way lunch should be be enjoyed.

If you're looking for a great place to have lunch, look no further than Mr G's restaurant. I recently had the pleasure of dining here and I was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.
The menu was impressive, with a wide range of options to choose from. I opted for the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. And the sweet potato fries were crispy and perfectly cooked.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great - it had a cozy and inviting feel, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. And the service was top-notch, with the staff checking in regularly to ensure that everything was to my liking.
All in all, I highly recommend Mr G's restaurant for lunch. The food, service, and atmosphere are all exceptional and make for a truly memorable food experience. Five stars!
This place is excellent! They have great staff, friendly atmosphere, and excellent sanitation rating. There sure were a lot of costumers stopping by at lunch time, which tells me this place has good quality food. I ordered the 1/2 lb Burger, 2 Hot Dogs, and 4 Wings & Fries to go. Get each of these and you'll get two sweet teas; which are tasty. It sure was a lot of food than I expected. I guarantee this can either make a great dinner, or a good lunch to share with a buddy. Again, the food I ordered was delicious! Please stop by when you get a chance!
We tried Mr. G's for lunch today and were very impressed.
The bacon double cheeseburger was excellent and the fries were crispy.
We also tried a breakfast platter (breakfast served all day!) The hot cakes that came with it were fluffy and just the right amount of sweet.
We will definitely be back!
Food came out fast, customer service was very polite, food was good would recommend trying. Like the small diner feel. (Ignore the red in the tartar sauce…hot sauce was added)
Ordered the grilled chicken salad to go. Service was fast and chicken was tender and well seasoned. Also I need their honey mustard recipe/supplier. It was soooo good! I'll be back to try other things.
This was my go to place when I lived in Charlotte I had a layover so went to get lunch OMG the food was amazing tasted like the first time the guy on the grill is a wizard the sweet tea has just the right amount of sugar hands down one of the best eats in town and breakfast is just as amazing im based in Maryland now and there is nothing like this place around MR Gs is a home town treasure
It was a very nice meal. I didn’t know this little family owned restaurant was around here, it was a very nice experience to go for the first time, people are very friendly the food it’s good and it’s actually really cheap $ for the big amount of food they give you, the best part is that is super close to the Atrium Health buildings. It looks a little aged but don’t judge it by it’s cover 😉😁The carrot cake is AMAZING!! It’s way a better option than the fast food you have around here.
Excellent food and service. They had my Gyros and Greek Salad in my table in less than 3 mins. Hard to beat for a fast and delicious lunch. I'll be going again, next time we land there.
You stand at the counter to order your food. Then you sit down and wait for them to bring to your table. My husband and son love the burgers. My son thinks the pancakes are just as good as a restaurant that specializes in them. I had cheese steak and I thought it was okay. My husband thinks it’s delicious. They give you a big stack of disposable napkins which is a huge bonus to me.
Very fast service. The bbq wings were good but the crinkle cut fries stole the show. Also they have the best lemonade and ice tea mix them and thank me later.
