We love the Tipsy Burro! It’s one of our favorite casual neighborhood places to hang out and drink with friends. My friends recently threw a surprise baby shower for us here and it was the perfect spot. Everyone felt at ease to order food at their convenience, the drinks were stiff and plentiful and the jukebox was stocked with good music. The staff is really nice and down to earth too!
The Wilson brothers have another hit on their hands. The Tipsy Burro has all the nostalgia of the Thirsty Beaver in a larger space with fantastic food. The Tex-Mex fare is on point and all reasonably priced. And the portions are generous to boot. Definitely going to become a regular spot for me. I recommend the quesadilla and a margarita.

We were nearby for the Christmas Show and were looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite before trekking back to Greensboro. This place was super close and had 4.5 stars on Yelp, so it was a no-brainer for us.
When we pulled up, it looked a little sketchy and run down, but I don't like to judge a book by its cover, so we went in. There were a few people sitting around the bar and the bartender was chatting it up with them. It reminded me of a Cheers vibe, just completely different. What an eclectic place! It looks like an American Pickers dream! They're bathrooms are pretty neat too and they were super clean. The music was awesome, a Jimmy Buffet vibe; not too loud that you couldn't have a conversation, but loud enough to dance in your seat.
The bartender was our server, which was fine because it was early and we had the place to ourselves, until others from the Christmas Show found it too. I had the Frito pie and my husband had the tacos. The food was so good! We had plenty to eat and even went home with a small box of leftovers. The chili on my Frito pie had just the right amount of kick for my taste. The queso was delicious, and my margarita was spot on too!
Our only regret is that we live too far away!

Logan was hands down the best bartender I’ve ever had in the Queen City! He has a heavy pour and is always cracking the funniest jokes! Would highly recommend! And the food is delicious! 🤤
I have been to the Tipsy burro multiple times and it is always fantastic. I rarely leave reviews so listen to me when I say I Just had their Nashville hot chicken chimichanga which is on special this week and it was the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and had to order to go, but the vibe here is also next level and everyone is so friendly. 100% would recommend 11/10

Love the Tipsy Burro! A great little "juke joint" with a Latin-American menu and a whole lot of Americana on the ceilings and walls. Go grab some food or the occasional show at Tipsy. It's a cool place with cool peeps and loads of nostalgia.
My new spot. I stumbled upon this place after having an appointment nearby. By the 2nd margarita I realized my server (Jessica) was a forced to be reckoned with. Didn't matter if I was inside or out the drinks came to me! I had the Southwestern Eggrolls, Steak Quesadilla, and Grilled cheese for the little one. All the food as well as the drinks were 100% on point and you can tell the food was made fresh in house. That includes Todd's hot sauces, the queso, and the salsa. They are about an hour away from me but I plan to make the trip weekly now as nothing else comes close to the food or the service. Enjoyed the quaint patio and can't wait to come out on a Saturday to hear the bands. Thanks Todd and Jessica!
Decent prices and good food! I definitely wish I would've had time for a Margarita or two. I will be stopping back by the next time I'm in town.
Great neighborhood spot with friendly staff and good food. The quesadillas are my favorite but everything I’ve had has been good.
