It's a great place to grab a bite. We had an egg sandwich with bacon, biscuits with gravy, vegetable omelette, eggs and links, waffles and a pancake. The food was good and the waiting staff were so friendly. The biscuit and gravy was awesome. The pancakes were a bit chewy, home fries were good. The waffles were also great, the cinnamon taste was not so overpowering and also it wasn't too sweet. It's filling and portions are generous.

First time trying this place and I can tell it's a staple in the area. The waitress knew some of the regulars and treated all the patrons like she knew them personally. My grits were a bit sweet?? I'm not sure why but everything else was good. Quick but quality meal in a budget.
Consistently good! Have tried multiple items from breakfast and lunch menu. Both menus are tasty. And no matter how many times I come the food is good. I love a spot that gets its right more than a couple times. The servers and cashier are super friendly and kind.
We arrived when maps said it was busy, but there was less than a minute wait. We ordered, and before I could even get a sip of coffee, our food arrived! Everything was cooked exactly as asked, substitutions were accommodated, just amazing service! The blueberry pancakes are the best I've ever tasted!! Every table had people laughing and happy. This is THE breakfast place to go!
Came across Maria’s on the last day of a weekend trip to Charlotte and it ended up being the best food we had during the entire visit. The waitress was super nice and so was Maria herself. The food was really good and they give you some big portions for a pretty low price. It has a home kitchen feel too, which was nice. Highly recommended.
If you're craving breakfast food, this neighborhood diner with friendly service is the perfect place. I like that it's open on Sundays, too!
I see other complaints about price, but I thought $6.99 for my eggs and grits with a biscuit was reasonable.
Had breakfast this morning. Like most restaurants today they are short staffed. It took a long time for our order to arrive at the table. The food was tasty and satisfying. I had the bacon omelet and my wife had the breakfast special. The only are I would recommend is for some upgrades to the facilities. We truly appreciate the passion our server had in keeping us happy.
Solid breakfast! Would recommend the bologna sandwich! It was yum! My fiancé got the veggie omelette and also enjoyed it. Pancakes were not good.
Food is always good. I've only had breakfast, but it has great flavor, portions and selections. The staff is helpful and cool too. Almost like being around people you've known forever. I just wish some of the revenue went into sprucing the restaurant up a bit.
