First time trying this place and I can tell it's a staple in the area. The waitress knew some of the regulars and treated all the patrons like she knew them personally. My grits were a bit sweet?? I'm not sure why but everything else was good. Quick but quality meal in a budget.
Consistently good! Have tried multiple items from breakfast and lunch menu. Both menus are tasty. And no matter how many times I come the food is good. I love a spot that gets its right more than a couple times. The servers and cashier are super friendly and kind.
We arrived when maps said it was busy, but there was less than a minute wait. We ordered, and before I could even get a sip of coffee, our food arrived! Food is always good. I've only had breakfast, but it has great flavor, portions and selections. The staff is helpful and cool too. Almost like being around people you've known forever. I just wish some of the revenue went into sprucing the restaurant up a bit.
Food pretty good as always. I Can tell the Mac and cheese recipe has changed. It doesn’t taste as home made and a bit bland. But overall everything else was good. I got curry chicken. Delicious
This is a classic Southern breakfast and lunch place. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is exactly what you want for comfort food. This is one of our favorite Charlotte spots and our kids love it.
