We had lunch today at Londa's Place, and it was exceptional! I opted for a vegetable plate: collards, mashed candied yams and cabbage with cornbread. The veggies were cooked perfectly, great seasoning & flavor, not limp, still had some crunch to them. The yams were like dessert. Others in my group had fried chicken w/veggies and smothered steak w/veggies. There were no complaints; happy plates were made! Being born and raised in the Deep South, I can be very picky about my "soul food". This exceeded my expectations! Do yourself a huge favor and eat at Londa's Place!!
Today a work colleague of mine mentioned this place and spoke so highly of it that I decided to have lunch there. They did not disappoint. The food was incredible and the staff was amazing. The fact that I live 15 minutes from here is not even a factor. I will definitely be coming back and spreading the word about this great establishment.
The absolute best! I only have good things to say, so if you're looking for a negative response - this is not the one :) My family and I visited this soul food restaurant because we're from Georgia and we love to try good "soul food" places. Mrs. Londa and her team are exceptional. They're so kind. The food was great, and my Mom and Dad loved them. Thanks so much for the hospitality. When we're back, we'll drop in to eat and visit again ;) Blessings!

I must fully note that the service at Londa's Place is of a standard I believe a lot of places are missing! The staff is warm, kind and on top of your needs while you are in their comfort!
The food is amazing. I've tried quite a few menu options and have yet to be disappointed. The flavors are mouth watering, the meats are always juicy and the portions are healthy!
The deserts are delicious! And the sweet tea/lemonade mix is the best I've had.
The pictures don't do justice but any time someone wants soul food, I immediately direct them to Londa's Place.
Food is awesome! I especially love the beef ribs and that they don't put pork in their veggies. Wish they would stay open at least until 8pm though. Some times you have to wait on food so I think they could us more staff.
We thought the food was great, especially the fried chicken. The fried chicken was seasoned very well, it was flavorful and juicy. Comfortable, clean atmosphere. All of the staff was extremely friendly, attentive and warm. My only complaints are that there are no signs with prices posted, and the cake wasn't very moist and I prefer more icing. Overall, I would definitely recommend a meal here.
Londa's Place came recommended by a co-worker, and since I'm not super familiar with soul food as a culinary category, I wanted to give it a try.
I had the turkey leg with gravy and rice, black-eyed peas, candied yams, cole slaw, and jalapeno corn bread. Loved it all, and will come again.
To echo what others have said about service, it is extremely warm and gracious-- the kind you'd expect if you were the only customer in the joint.
Some of the best soul food I’ve ever had in the 13 years I lived in Charlotte. Back when they were called “The Coffee Cup” and were off West Blvd… They never disappoint. If only they were here in TX now but I do visit when I come to Charlotte. I tell all my friends about the food.
I came across Londa's Place online around 3am as I was looking for somewhere good to eat bc I was going to Charlotte for an event. I was so excited to try it that I couldn't sleep, lol. Friendly customer service from the time I walked through the door til the time I left back out. The food is delicious southern cooking with flavor! Oh, and don't forget to get some Banana Pudding! I'll be recommending Londa's to friends/family and will definitely be going back 😋
OMG, this was my first time here, and it was delicious!!! Pastor Anthony, whom I believe is the owner along with his wife, not sure, but I think so. Anyway, he was very nice; served like a servant of God: in excellence! The food was immaculate!!! I ate a plate there and got a plate to go! Oh, and if you like fat back: homemade, better known as pork skins, you definitely want to get a LARGE order of them while you're there! The lemonade and tea were delicious, and the peach cobbler and lemon pound cake was amazing!!! Listen, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! IT'S WELL WORTH IT!!!!
I have been coming On my lunch break Maybe 2 or 3 days a week for months now, The lady's there are so nice and the food has never disappointed. My goto is the Baked or fired Swai, it's always freshly made so be prepared! don't get me started on the desserts 10/10

The thought of talking my dad to a cafeteria style restaurant for Father's Day was a mental adjustment. His request. Right from the start the staff was friendly and offered service. It was mentioned that the menu was posted on the wall. Once you see the banana pudding, caramel cake, peach cobbler and so much more, who is looking at the wall. The collard greens, black eyed peas, candied yams, macaroni and cheese, oxtails, fried chicken, fried fish to order, ribs, pig feet, string beans, corn bread, corn bread dressing, turkey legs, wings, need I go on. It tastes like you remember the best you've eaten. I was so surprised that the greens were not salty and the peach cobbler was perfect, not too anything but good. The owner/ manager was diligent in making sure her guests were happy. The prices are great too. Better get there quick before they go up. Great staff. We all had a fun time.
It's February 15th and we're here for another celebration. They haven't changed, still excellent service. I hear they are lined up outside the door on Sunday. This time I had my favorite with vegetable sides. I noticed one thing in common on the plates of others in our party. The delicious macaroni and cheese. Some ordered fish to order ( not available Sunday due to crowds). Other orders were oxtails ( good southern style), crispy fried chicken wings, pork chops (comes w/ two), meat loaf, fried chicken and more. I photographed the meat loaf. I know, she has two starches and has already taken a few bites out of the meat loaf. Must try. Your wallet won't be sorry either.
