Friendly service, atmosphere was good, classic diner feel. Lots of choices for meals, food don't take long to get, and free refills on coffee and soda, also most items have soup included! Open 24hr, I just wish this place was closer to my side of town.
Excellent service. Food was good and quick. They are open 24 hrs Thurs., Fri and Sat. Definitely recommend stopping in. Got breakfast food this time at 11pm can't wait to try a burger next visit, which will be soon.
Food was great, It was a lil awkward being the only person of color eating there with older white people looking @ you like your not supposed to be there ... but hey! That's their problem, I love good food! I just ignored Em! In the late 80s I played football for Sedgefield Junior High School. We'd eat all our Pre- game meals @ the knife and Fork on Wilkinson Boulevard ... brought back good memories.
We went last week with the kids and couldn't ask for a better experience. A longstanding iconic Charlotte Diner. This was the first restaurant I ever remember going to as a kid and they never disappoint.
Wife and I had a great breakfast, today. The over medium eggs were perfect. Sausage has a perfect flavor.Grits were not runny like most restaurants serve. Had great flavor as did the hash browns. Great waitress served us. You can't beat the service and the price.
Lived near this place for almost a year and just visited last week. The food was fresh and amazing! I had the seafood combination plate. The service was excellent and gave good recommendations! The staff was pleasant from the time we walked in up until when we paid for our meal. I will definitely be returning soon !
I am always made to feel welcome here! You can't beat the price of breakfast, matched with the quality of service you will receive here. My favorite items on the menu here are the Salmon patties, and the breakfast special. This restaurant is busy on the weekends as expected however I never have to wait long. I Highly recommend this restaurant !
This place is the best! Great service, especially at night time. The girls are very welcoming and make you feel at home, as well as the owners. Any omelette is made to perfection, lunch and dinner has so many options it's just so hard to choose. And don't even get me started on how y'all are open 24 hours Thursday through Saturday now!
This use to be sunrise restaurant but it still has that welcoming feeling that some diners have. The waitresses are very kind, good customer service. I've gone a couple of times to this place and the food is very good. There are a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. I love their omelettes!
I've had both breakfast and lunch in the month or so they've been open and everything was great. My eggs were perfectly over medium every time and the gyros were better than a lot of the competitors with authentic Greek tasiki sauce.
I still hear and read some of the negative stuff mainly because it's not Sunrise, which we all loved but the service is awesome and the food is great. The owner and his wife are hands on and are quick to smile and welcome you in.
I'm glad this place is here, there's not enough restaurants on the east side so if have an open mind at a big appetite, stop in, you won't regret it.
