The food was amazing! Our service was kind and quick, and we sat outside, so the view was great. They have a lot of gluten-free and vegetarian options. Their salads were huge and delicious. I highly recommend that if you come to visit, check this restaurant out. Inside, they have air conditioning, so if you've been running around in the heat all day, this is a great place to relax.

Menu is impressive. Wasn't expecting that. Our server Jared suggested the pimento cheese stuffed pretzels. We went with that. They were quite good. He suggested the smoked chicken nachos which were quite tasty but came out a little cold. Flavor was on point though. Impressive beer list with lots of local craft beers. Huge bowls of water out for the pups. The view from the patio is awesome. I love the Whitewater Center. My relative was blown away.
The food was really good and the view was awesome to see the river from the patio. We had wings and burgers and fried pickles, all were great!
I don’t know how this place only has 3.8 star rating! We all enjoyed the food and environment during our Saturday visit. The portion of the food is very generous, which is great for all the outdoor activities we did prior to that.
I ordered seared salmon, and it was cooked well. We also ordered chicken wings and a Ahi tuna starter. I like that the wings are dry-rubbed and seasoned very well. The tuna is a must try! Even though there are only 4 of them still worth it!
Great restaurant! Went there for a work conference and was not disappointed. Service was prompt and courteous. Excellent beer selection. Despite being quite busy our our was taken rather quickly, and the food was delivered quickly as well. The chicken wing and nacho appetizers were delicious, the wings were a dry rub that was amazing. The wings were meaty too. I could've made meal in itself of just the wings but unfortunately I had to share with others. Bummer! My main course was the chicken wrap with green beans. Both were excellent! Their green beans are my side of choice because they're fresh and very delicious. I've had their burgers before and they're an excellent choice too. Prices are reasonable but combined with the quality of food, excellent service, and location it is a great value. Facilities are very clean and well maintained as well.
5 stars to this place. Dogs are allowed. Good was great and we had a wonderful day ☺️ rafting, Zipline, free jumping, paddle board, it was just perfect place. I recommend absolutely
PLEASE put Pickle Fries back on the menu!!
Every Saturday we love going on a 6-mile hike on East Main and ending with pickle fries and beer at this restaurant. It was sad to see pickle fries removed from the menu. They were one of the best pickle fries in Charlotte. Bring them back please 🥺
This was not my first visit to Rivers Edge. I enjoyed the service and my lunch once again. I appreciated Alex that was working at the bar. She is very friendly and hospitable. Thanks a lot, see you again soon.
Food was amazing but Tyler was even better. Great service with a smile everytime!!!!! We even wanted to switch tables to sit in the sun and was told no problem 😁. Great food, great service, cold beer, and an awesome setting.
Great atmosphere…We got a table over looking the water and the stage! The center had live music that night and it was perfect to watch while we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend the steak sandwich!
