What a great Restaurant! Good ole country food with fast service and sweet southern hospitality. I got the baked chicken over rice with green beans and black eyed peas served with warm soft yeast rolls! Yum Yum! The chicken was so tender I had a hard time tellin the meat from the bone. My waitress Darlene was terrific. They even give you a great selection of after dinner candy to choose! Thanks for the great experience today #circlegrestaurant
Never disappointed with the food, and servers are over the top, they’re not Olive Garden but they treat you like family. Love these guys.
Finally found a true diner in Charlotte. If your a foodie, this is on the list to try. Fast friendly service. Great prices and huge portion. Had the ribeye steak and eggs. Ribeye was tender. Hashbrowns textbook perfect. You just need to go here!
We are not able to get Country Style Steak since we have moved out to Tucson, AZ and since we had lived in Charlotte all our lives before we moved to Tucson she had to go back to Circle G to get it for her Birthday. I got a vegetable plate myself and the Fresh Collard Greens, Black Eyed Peas, and Side Salad were all Delicious. My wife got a bowl of Hot Homemade Peach Cobbler and it looked like it was good even though I don’t eat sweets. We had a group of seven people and we received EXCELLENT SERVICE. We are planning to come back to Charlotte in September and Circle G will definitely be on top of our list of places to go!
The food here is great. The service would have got a higher rating if we didn't have to wait forever to get the bill, and if the waitress had split the bill like we asked. Don't go here very often as it's a bit out of the way. Recommend for the food. Waitress general attitude was ok, but lacking in areas.
The chicken was tender, moist, and the skin was crispy. It was not greasy, which is a plus.
The greens were good. Needed a pinch of salt, and a splash of vinegar.
The mashed potatoes and gravy was missing the gravy. 🤷🏾♀️ The mashed potatoes were basic.
The rolls, I did not eat them because I saw the guy picking up rolls up, without wearing gloves, and placing them in the Togo orders.
They have a decent size menu. I would probably give them another.

I have been dining at this establishment for years and I never have been disappointed! This place is "The Place" for good food. Period.
Food was good and service was great, just customers little loud talking to each other. Could use some music to break up people's conversations.
The usual great diner fare, served like you are family. Disappointed a couple of items on the menu were not stocked. My dad used to say food like this only needed one thing.........eatin'!
Good food at a reasonable price. Waitresses are always pleasant. I wish it was closer to where I live as I would visit more often.
My brother took me there for the first time the food was good it was my birthday so we had a good day and I've also let some other people know about it I think I took a picture of my food but I'll be back
The food I ordered was very good and seasoned well. I had hamburger steak with rice and gravy, cabbage and potato salad. The POTATO SALAD WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD. coming from a picky tater salad eater 😭. My boyfriend didn't care for the country style steak. But definitely loved the rest and ate some of mine! I'm not rushing back, but I will stop again if I am in the city.
