Amazing food and friendly service! This is honestly the best Italian food I’ve had in Charlotte! We had the fried ravioli which came out incredibly fast and was delicious. I had the stuffed eggplant Parmesan and my wife got the penne a la vodka with meatballs. We both were obsessed with our dishes! We are our leftovers for lunch the next day and they were just as good! Our server was incredibly friendly and helpful when we couldn’t decided what to order. Overall 10/10 and will be returning!

The server was amazing and knowledgeable. The food was great. They split our shared entrees for us in the kitchen. Prices were reasonable. Parking was a little tricky. We had to park in the street. Ambiance reminds me of an Old family Italian restaurant

My wife and I are regulars at Zio for several years and have over time introduced some of our friends to Zio. Never had any negative experiences, the food is delicious and the wine is great! The staff is friendly!!

Service was excellent. Food was hot and delicious! My guest was impressed. She said she had gone a long time ago but she did not remember it. But she left very pleased and wants to go back. Everything we had was tasty.

Amazing Italian place. Loved the wine, 1/2 priced on Tuesday, the free warm bread, the appetizer fried ravioli was so good, the lasagna best I’ve ever tasted, the chocolate cake dessert had this amazing homemade frosting to die for, overall the place is perfect! Service was amazing, the price was impressive, they could charge way more for their amazing food, you can take all your family and not spend tons and eat yummy Italian food, we will definitely visit again.

Excellent Italian, you wont get a bad meal here. service was very good, we are big fans of the original family restaurant in endicott. the chicken piccata is excellent as is the harvest salad and the chop salad were both very good I wanted to order a second salad. The pizza pie is some of the best pizza I have ever had. I miss consols in Endicott and I'm glad we moved here. I would give it six stars if they let me

We came here for Yelp International Supper Club and had a great meal.
We had a family style meal that started with some warm bread and olive oil. We got a cheese pizza appetizer, salad, penne ala vodka, rigatoni Maria, meatballs, chicken picotta, and canolis.
My favorite thing hands down was the pizza. So good. I usually get toppings, but plain cheese was really good. The penne ala vodka was pretty good too.
It was a ton of food for a great price. If you're looking for solid Italian at a reasonable price, this is your place.

I recently ate dinner at Zio Casual Italian for the first time. It is a quaint little restaurant. I ordered the meat lasagna and I really enjoyed it. They also have a good selection of wine by the glass. The fresh bread that comes with your meal is fantastic. Zio's is a nice, casual Italian restaurant.

Zio Causal is easily one of the best Italian restaurants in Charlotte. The food is well cooked and done . To taste and the aroma is mouth watering. And for the price is insanely affordable in a nice cozy setting especially at night for a dinner . Feels like you on a date which I was . We both came here, Neither of us have been here before . Sad part she stopped talking to me after that but ayeee at least I enjoyed the food and I was happy regardless.

Dinner was incredible! We got the ravioli appetizer, chicken piccata, and the arugula pizza. There was more than enough for leftovers which I was happy about! We were able to get a table without a reservation but it was right next to their hydroponic system which was very bright. Not the end of the world but definitely a reason to call ahead for a table!
Our waitress was lovely and the place is adorable! I’ve been in Charlotte for four years and just found this great local spot. We will be back!

The Gift of Chiropractic
I visited Zio on Wednesday night and discovered that they have live music every Wednesday where the owner and his friend serenaded us with some beautiful jazz while we were waiting for our food. The food arrived in a timely manner, considering how busy it was and well worth the wait. I ordered the fig and goat cheese pizza, and it was divine. I didn't realize how close this amazing restaurant is to my practice. I will be back soon!

Everything here is homemade and a lot of their vegetables are picked from their own garden out back! My husband and I have been coming to Zio for years and have never been disappointed! The grilled pies are unmatched anywhere else in Charlotte! Their wedge salad is a perfect combination of ingredients. Their Italian pasta dishes are all great! I highly recommend Zio!

Went on my First Date here! I am from Endicott, NY where the original restaurant is. Zio's was fantastic with amazing food. Penne alla Vodka was great. Chris, our waiter was most respectful, and sincere. Also, atmosphere is perfect and has the original genuine family feel!

Zio's is our favorite authentic Italian restaurant in the Charlotte Metrolina area - and that's a large area. Their Salmon Picatta over Angel Hair will make you swoon. Their prices are very reasonable, the food very fresh and always delicious, and the wait staff always courteous and helpful.

Food was good as usual. However, service was atrocious. Stood at bar 20 minutes before the bartender gave us a wine list (while we were waiting for table). Ended up being seated before bartender took our drink order. Waiter was short and inattentive.
First time back in several months. Hoping this was just a way off night!
