Seriously the best. The meatballs are to die for and so is the grilled sausage pizza.
Everything here is homemade and a lot of their vegetables are picked from their own garden out back! My husband and I have been coming to Zio for years and have never been disappointed! The grilled pies are unmatched anywhere else in Charlotte! Their wedge salad is a perfect combination of ingredients. Their Italian pasta dishes are all great! I highly recommend Zio!

Amazing food and friendly service! This is honestly the best Italian food I’ve had in Charlotte! We had the fried ravioli which came out incredibly fast and was delicious. I had the stuffed eggplant Parmesan and my wife got the penne a la vodka with meatballs. We both were obsessed with our dishes! We are our leftovers for lunch the next day and they were just as good! Our server was incredibly friendly and helpful when we couldn’t decided what to order. Overall 10/10 and will be returning!
The server was amazing and knowledgeable. The food was great. They split our shared entrees for us in the kitchen. Prices were reasonable. Parking was a little tricky. We had to park in the street. Ambiance reminds me of an Old family Italian restaurant
My wife and I are regulars at Zio for several years and have over time introduced some of our friends to Zio. Never had any negative experiences, the food is delicious and the wine is great! The staff is friendly!!
Service was excellent. Food was hot and delicious! My guest was impressed. She said she had gone a long time ago but she did not remember it. But she left very pleased and wants to go back. Everything we had was tasty.
Amazing Italian place. Loved the wine, 1/2 priced on Tuesday, the free warm bread, the appetizer fried ravioli was so good, the lasagna best I’ve ever tasted, the chocolate cake dessert had this amazing homemade frosting to die for, overall the place is perfect! Service was amazing, the price was impressive, they could charge way more for their amazing food, you can take all your family and not spend tons and eat yummy Italian food, we will definitely visit again.

Excellent Italian, you wont get a bad meal here. service was very good, we are big fans of the original family restaurant in endicott. the chicken piccata is excellent as is the harvest salad and the chop salad were both very good I wanted to order a second salad. The pizza pie is some of the best pizza I have ever had. I miss consols in Endicott and I'm glad we moved here. I would give it six stars if they let me
The staff was incredible and the atmosphere was electric! It was packed for jazz night and they do so much with that little space. Lastly, the food was amazing!
Very delicious and excellent service. A small menu but everything was great! Very reasonable price point as well. We are not in this neighborhood often but I will remember it for next time!
We came here for Yelp International Supper Club and had a great meal.
We had a family style meal that started with some warm bread and olive oil. We got a cheese pizza appetizer, salad, penne ala vodka, rigatoni Maria, meatballs, chicken picotta, and canolis.
My favorite thing hands down was the pizza. So good. I usually get toppings, but plain cheese was really good. The penne ala vodka was pretty good too.
It was a ton of food for a great price. If you're looking for solid Italian at a reasonable price, this is your place.
