Classic white tablecloth vibe, the service made the experience special. Food was excellent. Place has character relative to some of the newcomers in the area.

Food is really good here. It should get a 5 but one steak was over cooked. The half and half side dish was excellent. Wine list has some really good options, but the brand names are over priced. Ser ice was perft and they let you stay as long as you want.

Elegant setting and impeccable service. Attentive without being intrusive. The food is outstanding with much detail given to the preparation of each dish presented. A special experience for a special occasion. And their "special offers" are worth every dollar.

The Best! It is a small chain restaurant, and they provide some of the best food around. Our last visit (one of many) we had amazing service by the manager, waitress, back waiter, and hostess. It is a little pricey for those who have not planned ahead. We know the costs and are happy to enjoy this amazing food.

Lisa was a lovely server. The food was amazing. The scallops were seared perfectly. The steak cut like butter and was cooked exactly the way i like it. Risottos flavors melted in your mouth. Well worth the cost. Expensive. But you receive an amazing meal.

Five stars, First class! We were greeted by Joey the minute we walked through the door. White tablecloths. Wait staff dressed formally. David was our waiter. He immediately told my BFF, "Happy Birthday"! The service was wonderful! He brought extra marinara for the calamari and added a sample of delicious creamy truffle gnocchi. At the end, he brought a beautiful slice of cheesecake with a candle, caramel sauce, and a fresh mint leaf to my friend. As a foodie and gourmet cook, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm taking a French client of mine for lunch in 2 weeks. She's a wine connoisseur. I can't wait to return!

Pricey. Classic food choices. Well presented and prepared. Previous visit was 15+ years ago. Seemed much noisier back then. Great for special occasions.

First time here. We went for our anniversary and had a great time. We took advantage of the restaurant week special which was a fantastic value!! We had an 8pm reservation and we're seated at 820 so not bad especially for a Saturday. That allowed us to have a drink at the bar. I had a regular old fashioned which was perfectly made and delicious. Andrew was our bartender and was excellent. We requested to sit outside and it was accommodated no problem. Our server..I think her name was Amanda... Or Andrea.. So sorry... Was great! Super friendly and managed our table perfectly... Was there when we need her and gone while we enjoyed our meal.... She was very very good. I had the caprese salad, filet work lobster gnocchi, and key lime pie. The caprese salad was very good but a little boring which is the only spirit negative I had. The filet was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Served next to roasted garlic was a perfect pairing...I used it as a spread for my bread and it was awesome. The gnocchi was perfectly cookednoticable lobster and the perfect amount of sauce. The key lime pie was classic. Probably the best key lime pie or I've ever had. We had an excellent night out. It's definitely a special occasion restaurant that is pricey... But the restaurant week allowed us to experience the restaurant without spending a ton of money. Recommend highly...

I only wish I was that person to take a picture of my plated food. I went for a private medical speaking engagement, so we were in a room. The only thing I can say about the atmosphere is in passing, which was still nice. The food, delivery, taste, expert presentation, and time spent with each course was nothing short of perfect. Well done, The Palm. . .take a bow.

Everything was wonderful! We were celebrating a 50 year wedding anniversary and the team went above and beyond to make it extra special! Everything was delicious! Thank you!

Excellent food, fantastic service Management is unbelievable. Joey keeps an eye on each and every table. Kaitlin & Tony will take care of you. Andrew at bar is so friendly & fast. All staff are professional and very friendly. Highly recommend. If you like to get great food with best Service, then try this place. Coby at Valet parking is the best.

Absolutely the best lunch in all of Charlotte. Great value, superb service, chic' ambience and great staff. I had the $26, 3 course lunch at the bar. It was to die for. You can select what you would like from 3 categories. I chose the tomato crab soup, Strip steak (medium rare), a side of perfectly prepared green beans and a flourless chocolate cake for dessert. It was more than I could eat and I elected to take half of it home for another meal. My server/bartender was very friendly and professional. You could not get a meal like this anywhere in Charlotte for this price. I was so relaxed at The Palm after a week long move from Uptown to this area and savored every bite. I cannot wait to go back. BTW, there are many a la carte items on the menu and another favorite for me is the "chopped salad". It can be pricey for dinner but the quality and service is 5 star. Well worth it.

Excellent service and awesome food. Hubby and I went yesterday for our Valentine’s date and the place didn’t disappoint. The crab cakes are divine, hubbys rib-eye steak was scrumptious. I am not a steak kind of a person but I even like it myself. Potatoes Au gratin was wow..our server was really nice too he even gave us a good portion of cream spinach to try since hubby wanted to try it but and I told him we had too much food because of the potatoes, appetizer and bread....to sum it all up great place to visit...can’t wait to come back soon...

My husband and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary last night. I must say the service was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. We were given a card signed by the staff, which I thought was a nice touch. Our head server was Tony. Tony was attentive and well versed on the menu. My husband was not impressed with his meal at all. He ordered a Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmigiana and on a whim ordered lobster mac and cheese. Husband felt like for upscale dining the food was just "regular." He gives the lobster mac and cheese an above average rating but it would not prompt him for a return visit. I ordered New York strip steak, au gratin potatoes and the wedge salad and chimichurri sauce for the steak. The steak was just ok and the potatoes were pretty good and I loved the salad. The chimichurri sauce was not very flavorful. I shared my thoughts with the server and offered another sauce but I declined. My overall experience was a 2.5 and I will more than likely not return.

Great place for special celebrations. In my opinion, they serve the best Porterhouse Steak (a thicker T-Bone Steak) or the "king of the T-Bones." It's the best of both worlds. On one side is a tenderloin filet and the other is a top loin which is better known as the New York Strip Steak. Add a lobster and you're in heaven!

Joey and his team at the Palm are first class all the way. Amazing food and even better service. Highly recommend you bring your family out to spoil them here.

The food was pedestrian at best. I had much higher expectations based on the restaurants glowing reputation. Perhaps we caught them on a bad night. I cannot recommend to anyone I love. We more than likely will not be back.

Joey and his wonderful team (wait staff, managers, event planner/Tonya, bartenders, and valet) are always making sure EVERY dining visit is wonderful and just what you want! The menu has something delicious for everyone. Steaks are great but the seafood, chicken parmigiana are too...just as great. My favorite are the crab cakes, best I have ever had anywhere! Lobster at The Palm is beyond words. Great, great sides to go with any entree you select. We also, enjoy the wonderful wine dinners occasionally too. Again, Joey and his team are great!

Unfortunately my first visit to The Palm was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’m not one to write negative reviews, but this was just that bad. Firstly, the service was pretty good. Certainly not excellent, but it was good. Myself and two girlfriends ordered a bottle of wine, which was excellent, but that’s where it stopped. We ordered several appetizers that were awful. The tuna was not fresh and after each of us had a bite we didn’t eat it. The same goes for the calamari which was rubbery and extremely salty- the “marinara” was cold and flavorless. We wondered if they had just opened a can of tomatoes and put them in a dish. The lobster mac and cheese was awful as well. Luke warm, the pasta was over cooked and the was NO lobster at all in the dish. To say the least, we expected much more from a fine dining restaurant with prices like these. After the awful apps we didn’t dare order an entree. Lastly, after dinner we went to the restroom where there was a man in there cleaning. We asked if we could enter and he replied “that’s up to you”. We obviously waited outside of the door while he continued to clean. Why wouldn’t he stop what he was doing to allow us to enter, then continue when we left?? After we were made to wait about 5 min, we entered the restroom and a few min later he knocked on the door, opened it, and asked if we were done. I was touching up my makeup since we where headed somewhere else for drinks because we were ready to leave. I immediately left the restroom and we left the restaurant. To say the least we were all shocked at how bad this experience was.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at The Palm. I cannot say enough about the chicken Parmesan. It was excellent! The staff was extremely pleasant and our server Cassie was the best! We will be returning.

Another Great nite at the Palm !!! Food was excellent and the staff was on top of it !!! Best restaurant in Charlotte by far !!!! These guys know us and they all made it a point to come by our table and speak !!! Great job !!!! Will be back soon !!

The whole dinning experience was amazing. The service truly was the best I've ever had in a restaurant and everyone in my party loved their meal. I had the crab cakes and they were better than the ones I had when I visited Maryland earlier this year. 5 stars all the way

Excellent food and service including the wonder valet service. I had the Chilean Sea Bass that was prepared to perfection, the corn salsa was flavored past perfection. The appetizer of Coconut Scallops were a meal in itself. The Cheese Potato Augratin was memorable. Thank you for such a pleasant evening. My friends and I were well pleased and the server was awesome. See you Soon.
