Bernardin's - Charlotte - Photo album

Great dinner. Beautiful restaurant, used to be a flower shop. Stained glass was very pretty. Had the Duck liver pate, Emu, Clam Chowder and Bread pudding with Butter pecan ice cream. Would order everything but the clam chowder again. It was too bland and thick for my taste, too much flour maybe?. Ha
A gem in the heart of downtown. Fantastically interesting menu (duck confit & foie gras spring rolls? Grilled emu?). The service was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The ambience is quiet and lovely. They cater to allergies and dietary restrictions, and were very good about it. Felt completely com
Visited for my dad's 80th birthday with a cousin. Ambiance was gorgeous! Prices a little high as expected, but for the actual portions, very reasonable. Our waitress was very kind and attentive to us and all of the tables within her sphere, service is a major pet peeve of mine! Got the shrimp and gr
I had a great experience. Service was excellent and it was a great atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive. I ordered the grilled Emu. It had good flavor and the sweet potato had a little spice to it. I also had the wedge salad. I would definitely recommend.
Ordered the Fried Calamari & Duck Confit Spring Rolls as an appetizer.. Both were very delicious. We ordered the Short Rib & 14oz Ribeye steak over mashed potatoes. Everything was very tasty! We will definitely come back!
First time here and it did not disappoint! Everything was amazing and so flavorful! I got the wedge salad, the seafood dish that had scallops, shrimp, mussels and white fish in a yummy tomato sauce, and the creme brûlée for dessert. Waitress was a amazing and the ambience in here is great! I was sol
This restaurant automatically had a wonderful feeling to it.. it’s a very romantic place and the lighting makes it all the more nostalgic.. I’ve never been to a restaurant that can not only over exceed my expectations but, manage to make the whole dining experience even greater than expected as well
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner last night - excellent service by Lia; relaxing, comfortable with good spacing between tables, a sort of throw back decor style; well priced dishes and wine and a dessert that was practically life changing! Our fish and lamb chop dishes were well balanced
Best duck Pâté I've ever had. We tried several cocktails, and they were all very well balanced and overall amazing. The noise level crept up to an uncomfortable volume due to 2 large parties in such a small space. The chef came to our table to discuss some allergies, and he was very personable and
If you have a chance to go don't miss out! This is one of my favorite fine dining experiences in Charlotte! I love this place! Some may say service is a lil bit slow but it is well worth the wait. The place is super clean super cozy service is good and staff try so hard to keep everyone happy even w
Birthday dinner here! Everything was fantastic! Our server very knowledgeable and made great suggestions from the menu. Loved the Lobster ravioli and Duck egg rolls 😊
Our food was amazing. Our server was average. The salmon was cooked perfectly, with delicious trimmings. The prices were fair, the atmosphere was charming, but our server brought our bread to the table after our entree (after sitting there for about 30 minutes), and she never asked us if we wanted a
I don’t even eat clam chowder, but I do when at Bernardin’s because it’s amazing here! The salmon is very tasty. The curried shrimp and shrimp stir fry is too. Great restaurant with fair prices.
Delicious!!! A little thrown off that they close pretty early but otherwise a really great meal.
Bernardin's has absolutely delicious food! The menu has a variety of items, but is not overwhelming. Goat cheese is prevalent among many of the dishes. QUALITY ingredients in both appetizers, entrees, and desert. The alcoholic beverages were delicious as well. Allison, a waitress has a wealth of kno
Got to visit last night during Queen's feast for the first time. We had a wonderful overall experience and definitely would come back. The Filet's and Lamb shank were fantastic, and definitely recommend the Duck confit spring rolls. The strawberry shortcake was delicious and a perfect finisher, and
This was the best fine dining experience I have ever had! The Ambience was quiet and Regal, a truly Beautiful place. The host and waiter treated us like royalty and genuinely cared about our experience. The food is Divine! Everything was great, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be the Emu tha
Had just arrived in town and was very hungry, picked this place based on it being walking distance to our hotel. Loved it!! Food, atmosphere, service, everything was on point.
