Review Firebirds Wood Fired Grill - Charlotte

The Philly Cheesesreak Egg Rolls was not to my liking. All the other friends with me thought it was good. I ordered the Colorado Chicken Salad, but replaced it with the steak tenderloins. I'm guessing they waited to bring everyone else's food to have theirs hot, and my steak was cold. The Lemonade was delicious, with the sugar around the Rum, not too sour at all. My husband's Woodfire NY Strip was very well executed, he loved it! The starter bread was amazing, warm, crispy outside, soft inside, and the soft butter was perfect overall.

we here after the movie for a late dinner. The place was empty but great service. The pineapple drink was just too watery for me at 11, each not worth the price. Garnish was a slice of pineapple, and it was not worth it. We had the filet, and I got ribs. The steak was fine, and the bacon around it undercooked. The ribs were fire, no complaints here over all. Dinner was nice. the total bill was 118.00, not bad for two. If you go tell them the Review Guru Sent ya!

Very nice place to eat had sharables and they were very good. The tuna tacos are amazing 🤩 a must have!!!

This time at Firebirds I got the Prime Rib and parmesan potatoes, (the horseradish sauce is delicious!) And my wife got the salmon. We also enjoyed our mocktails as well! We made reservations & our table was ready when we arrived.

Our waitress was amazing, I wish I got her name. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very nice place! Went for brunch and it was delicious! The one complaint I would have is that we ordered Bloody Mary's. The waitress asked what Vodka we wanted and my wife said Tito's. There ended up being a $3 upcharge for Tito's. She never mentioned that and we didn't find out until we got the bill. I think she should have mentioned that when we asked for Tito's. We might have still got Tito's or asked for a different Vodka. Other than that, everything was outstanding!

The steak was good as always and the salad delicious, but the mashed potatoes definitely were not fresh - so disappointing. It needed courage to use the restroom due to the smell. I think next time we will try a different Firebirds 😞

The Firebirds at Northlake is our “go to” on Monday’s. A special thanks the Chef Matt and the entire culinary staff for providing our meal on point every time we visit the restaurant. The port mushrooms were prepared elegantly, not swimming in sauce, but perfectly coated and seasoned. Texture was perfect. I get them every time we go. Keep up the fantastic work you do! We had an amazing time at Firebirds Northlake! My best friend/cousin treated me to dinner for my birthday. I have had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant multiple times throughout the years but this was my friend’s and family’s first experience. As expected they enjoyed it as well. We were greeted warmly and promptly by the hostesses. The FH Manager Marvin was very courteous and hospitable. The food and cocktail were delicious, the steps of service were timely, and the service was excellent! Our server was attentive and accommodating. The ambiance was nice and the restaurant was clean. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back.

Firebirds specializes in wood fire grilled items from Salmon, chicken and Steak. Ribeyes and Seafood are cooked to perfection. I would highly recommended making a reservation to this location due to the high foot traffic from the mall.

Food was great and we got good service but it took a long time for us to get out of there when we done eating. My card was out of my possession for over 5 minutes which I was a little uncomfortable with. The manager spoke to a larger table and ignored us. Other than a few hospitality issues, we had a great time.

Updated in October, 2021. The salmon is awesome. Try the lunch portion, it is a 4 oz piece versus the dinner potion. Much cheaper!The green beans with pecans is also delicious. We love the au gratin potatoes. Lots of garlic and cheese. We also enjoy the sliced pepper corn top sirloin. The steak was delicious a little bit spicy but really good. My wife loves the crème brûlée cheesecake. The service is excellent the atmosphere is very pleasant.

New go to steakhouse. Had a great server, Courtney. He was on top of everything. The kitchen was moving. Had the aged ribeye with parmersan mashed potatoes. Would order that again. Topped steak with mushrooms and blue cheese sauce.

I went here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food and service were excellent. We shared the onion rings as an appetizer. They were cooked nice and crisp, very flavorable. The only thing I did not like was the bread. It was bland, no flavor. The butter was bland also. It will be tasty to season the bread put some salt and seasoning in it. I had the honey hot chicken sandwich with broccoli for my meal. It was very good. My friends had the smokehouse burger, salmon entree, and salmon salad. I will try the salad next time with chicken. It was huge and had great ingredients in it. My friends ordered dessert carrot cake and lemon cake. They said they were good. They are nice size portions that you can share. I definitely recommend this place and plan on going again.

Me and my family had a great time at Firebirds celebrating my birthday. The food was fabulous and the waiter Jackson aka Jackson Mississippi lol was so so great ! Great sense of humor even though he had a lot going on he gave us his all and made sure i was good with my food as if we actually knew each other. He is one of the best waiters I’ve had in a restaurant. Phenomenal work and very sweet and kind !

Hailey our server was amazing. I caught her walking in from the parking lot and she immediately seated us in her section as we requested even before clocking in . She wipes down our table and treated us so well. The food was Amazing loved the new additions to the menu. I ate the snapper my daughter had the ribeye. Everything this evening was so perfect!!!!? Oh and the brulee cheesecake what a treat. The lemon blueberry cake is amazing as well.

Familiar with Firebirds at their South Park location. 1st time at Northlake. We were seated near the bar and were attended to quickly. Our appetizer of deviled eggs were good. I ordered the salmon with the cider slaw, it never disappoints. My sister had the fish tacos and she said they were good but with each bite she questioned what ingredient could they have added to take it to another level. Nice ending to a long day of shopping.

In short, meh. Lunch after a movie, and we sat outside under an umbrella. That was the highlight of the meal. Service was friendly but slow. Would have had a glass of wine, but the only decent Sauvignon Blanc was $10 for a 5-oz pour. Expect that at Disney or nicer restaurant, but not in a mall restaurant. Opted for water with lemon ("please"). Got water but no lemon. Didn't get refill on water until meal was nearly over and our glasses had been close to empty for 10-15 minutes as we nursed the last few swallows. Refill came but without ice so was barely cool. We ordered BLT salad and turkey club on "spicy" jalapeño bread. Salad was okay, but since dressing was tossed and not on the side, it wilted the lettuce. Further, it seemed to have sat for awhile since lettuce was room temperature instead of cold and crisp. Sandwich was okay, but definitely not spicy. Plenty of turkey and bacon, I'll give them that. Steak fries weren't hot, and the smaller pieces were chewy, as if they, too, had been sitting a bit. It took nearly 20 minutes to get our food, so perhaps that's why. Overall, the food wasn't terrible, nor the service; however, neither was memorable in a good way and bordered on unsatisfactory. Disappointed--too many other places with better food and service, so a return visit isn't likely.

My partner and I visited Firebirds for the first time while in Charlotte. This place is awesome. Great food and drink, the service was exceptional. Our server Keegan was very knowledgeable about both food and drink offerings. Be sure to ask for a table in his section. Since it was around lunchtime we opted for the soup and salad combo. The portion size was ample and delicious. After our meal the manager came by and asked about the food and service, we gave two thumbs up. Well definitely be paying this place a return visit.

Firebird's has long been one of my favorite restaurants. Admittedly, I prefer the one in Stonecrest to the other locations, but I don't live or work in that area anymore. I always get excellent service there. The Northlake location has been ok in the past, but lately I seem to get subpar service. I can't remember not having an order or ticket messed up in the last 5 visits. My biggest issue with them of late is the happy hour. Either all of their staff isn't trained properly and are advertising it wrong or they are ripping people off. Wednesday is supposed to be all drinks half price all day and bar bites at the special price between 4-6:30. Tonight after asking about the drink specials, I ordered a martini and a glass of wine. The martini was as advertised, but the wine was full price. I asked my waitress and she tells me that only select wines are half price (mind you I only order one type of wine from there and in the last two months it has been sold to me on a Wednesday for half price). Why she didn't think to tell me that it was full price when I ordered is a mystery since I'd clearly just asked about the specials. I wouldn't order an $11 glass of wine when I could get a $5 martini! I also ordered shrimp tacos but it was after the "bar bites happy hour" so I expected to pay $10 for those as it's the regular price. Well my waitress asked me what side item I wanted, after telling her they don't normally come with a side, she insisted they did, so I chose broccoli. When I get my bill the price is also wrong. Turns out there's a different price if you get a side or don't, so again misinformed. Something similar happened a while back ago and the manager fixed the bill and comped dessert. Today, nothing..just a dry "sorry for the mix up but I can't fix it". This service is slowly pushing me away from what was once my favorite restaurant.

My Fiance went here for the first time this evening. Overall not a terrible experience espeically for a busy friday night. We both enjoyed our food and 2 drinks each. However, my second double diamond almost didn't show up to our table until after we finished eating when it was ordered a good time before food arrived. The manager heard of this and was kind enough to comp my second drink which I was not expecting. However once I got home I realized I had also ordered a caesar side salad with my dinner and it never arrived, I didn't keep my detailed receipt so I'm not quite sure if I was charged for it or not ( my fault for not checking sooner). I would however be willing to give this place a try again before making a final judgement. I thought the food quality and price were good as well.

April 9th was my bday, and my waitress name was Valerie. She was amazing. I arrived there around 2pm by myself. She was very enthusiastic and she knew her menu. I ordered the salmon sesame crusted salmon with the mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. I also had the strawberry cheesecake. Everything was delish. Thank you for a great time. I do recommend this place for any occasions.

Our server, Matt, was attentive, thoughtful, and polite. My water never got half Empty, he checked on is throughout the meal, he have good suggestions for side items, .... overall great job. The food was good the spinach was amazing.

Amazing food and server! I had a reservation and was seated quickly and efficiently. Shatiek took care of our group and gave amazing service ...I will def be back again soon. I love getting an excellent meal and a great server!!

Great food and great service, they have a wonderful variety of different meal choices. Lots of gluten free choice as well.

Food did not come as ordered and food temperature was not correct overall we would recommend this place
