First time eating here. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise! Our server, Ares, was very helpful and provided excellent service. The food itself was tasty and the provided sides were plentiful in their amount. The decor reminded us of a 50s diner and was clean and shiny. We are looking forward to going back and trying their breakfast 😊
A great little find in the middle of Charlotte. Service was fast and friendly and the food is really good for diner fare.
One really neat thing is that if you ask for chocolate chips with your waffle, they don’t just throw them on top, like most places, they are actually cooked into it.
With a 4.4 rating at the time of writing this review, this place is more on the underrated side than not. The food here ranges from very good to great. Service is probably even better than that. If you go here you must try the collard greens, they are amazing. In reality, you cannot go wrong with whatever you order here.
I have always enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The waiters work hard and are friendly. The food is hot and delicious. They would have gotten 5 stars however we were seated for a few seconds then asked to move and both tables were dirty and the floor was extremely sticky. I will be going back trying to save room for dessert next time.
Today was my first time here. I ordered the meat omelet, and my husband had shrimp and grits. The omelet was well prepared, I should've requested American cheese instead of cheddar, but it was great. My husband LOVES the shrimp and grits. He raves about the creamy grits and the portion. Aries our server was personable and engaging. I will definitely visit again!
My first time at the establishment was Tuesday. The service & food were phenomenal! (Food)- flavorful, fresh, & satisfying. The server was beyond friendly. He informative & knowledgeable, he even offered samples just to easy my mind about any choice I made. The price points for the portion size ,there's nothing like it.
Food was great like always! Chicken and waffles are a must for my fiancé every time we go. My favorite breakfast side is the creamy grits!! You won’t be disappointed I promise. Definitely a Charlotte classic and highly recommend. :)
Great diner with a cool style and looks. It was clean and pretty good packed. Service was attentive and supportive. Food was delicious and fresh. All excellent. And good pricing.

Visited tonight with several others. The feedback overall was that the food was good. My food was good, but the collard greens were a bit chewy for my taste. The Mac and cheese was decent in my opinion. We waited over an hour for our food to come out which was fustrating as our entire party were all starving. Due to having to wait so long for our food not sure if it would be worth visiting again. Overall I am very disappointed in my experience.
Food was really good,priced right and hot. The inside of the place could use a good cleaning and touch up. Eas busy, so we sat at the counter. Everything came out pretty fast. Did forget to ring in the French toast. That was eaten last after Everything else was completed. Would recommend this place easily.
