Omgoodness the whole family is in love with the amazing food and the staff are so sweet and friendly! Coming from a clam chowder snob, the clam chowder is mind blowing!!! The cod is so fresh, moist and lightly breaded it just falls apart! Our youngest said his burger was amazing as well! Our oldest got the calamari strips was so flavorful too!! A MUST go place for anyone who 😍 fresh seafood!! And don’t forget to get your monkey!!

I work at the Charleston Marina, so I have had plenty of opportunity to explore the myriad of wonderful cuisine that Monkey Business has to offer, from the world class clam chowder, to the near irresistible Jungle Fries and BBQ Fries.
But today I did resist those options, and I chose to embark on a masticatory odyssey as I tore through a quad Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger with extra bacon (strips, to go with the delicious and crunchy crumbles that the sandwich already features), and double extra grilled onions.
The burger came out nicely seared (a quality which I could taste even with the additional toppings), well stacked, and in more than ample proportion. I literally could not put it down until I was done! Amazingly, it held together down to the last bite, and the Garlic Fries that I ordered and placed below the burger as I nommed caught all the yummy drippings, making them even more scrumptious. The fries made a wonderful dessert, and the complimentary lemon-lime water, fresh from a countertop dispenser, added just the perfect touch of citrus to cleanse the palate.
I highly recommend Monkey Business, and if you want to try the madness that I had them create for me, just let them know you'd like your Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger to be "Michael Style!"
We love monkey business. We visited three years ago on a recommendation from a family member and we were so glad we did. They have made a very comfortable indoor eating experience since the last time we came and it has only made things better. The staff were great, there was good seating and the bathrooms were clean. The clams in the chowder are good sized and so fresh, it is the best chowder on the Oregon coast, no joke.
Friendly staff, excellent service and tasty food. We ordered fish tacos, bread bowl and fried fish. All came out fresh and hot. One of the best fish tacos I have had. Break bowl with clam chowder was excellent as well.
Best darn clam chowder I've ever had. Yum, yum! The clams were so tender, and the sour dough bread was crispy and flavorful. Very nice, folk. Stop in and pin your state on their wall.
Our family of five loved this place! We were so glad we found it. Great atmosphere, delicious food at good prices which we appreciated, good portions sizes, and a very friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant is family operated. We saw locals and tourists alike eating a late lunch with us. We enjoyed the shrimp po’boy, the fish and chips, a fish sandwich, and burgers. Everyone loved the fries! Several costumers were eating the clam chowder in a bread bowl which looked amazing! We also had a fun time playing the hook and ring battle on the table. Highly recommend!

Awesome food and great service. Rob was really friendly. He really enjoys what he does. Clam chowder was awesome!! Made from scratch with a touch of bacon so it doesn't overpower the taste of the chowder. I had this in the bread bowl. The next day I had the fish tacos. They were packed with fish and toppings. I had the green sauce to go with. Yummy. My friend had the Oyster PoBoy sandwich. He said it was "awesome". So the word "awesome" I think adequately describes our experience here. Enjoy!
We actually enjoyed the food at Monkey Business two days in a row! While camping last weekend we took to the docks, dropped the crab pots in the water and very quickly worked up an appetite. The incredible aroma of onion rings slowly danced its way down a long the docks, that's when we decided to head on over for a snack. Obviously, we ordered the onion rings. They were great, we appreciated that they were fresh and the batter was perfect-- not too thick and cooked to perfection. We went back the next for more crabbing and grabbed lunch. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings, and the bf had the 4 piece Cod fish and chips. The Cod pieces were a little smaller than the average servings, tasted amazing. We enjoyed our lunch outside, it was a beautiful sunny day.

I had three shrimp tacos with their special slightly spicy sauce, and my husband had the prawns and fries. Both meals were excellent. They clearly take pride in making delicious fresh food. We've found another great stop on the Oregon coast for when we are visiting. Thanks for the lunch!
