Tin Roof - Charleston - Photo album

If you love dive bars, then this is a must. The drinks are fairly priced, and the atmosphere is fun. The only negative is that I wish the food menu was bigger.
Local watering hole with nightly entertainment - Sunday was karaoke with varying degrees of talent, but a cool, comfortable spot where people are friendly and the bartender does her job well. I've seen different events here from nationally touring alternative bands to fairly professional comedy.
Amazing punk rock bar with a huge selection of beers, including drafts. Live music almost nightly with great sound!! Great and helpful staff! This is a very comfortable place to hang out.
Pretty cool place to catch bands. There's something going on basically every night so pretty good also cheap to get into like 10 bucks a show. Sound inside isn't that good, but it's what you would expect going to punk shows
This is our favorite place. The people are down-to-earth and friendly. Chill vibes, cheap prices, great bar staff, pop-up restaurants, and theres almost always something going on and someone cool to talk to.
It's a dive bar. If you want something else there are plenty of bars around that will suit your bad taste. If you want original music, a punk rock history lesson and a good time, leave your elitist attitude at the door and enjoy. 😇
Awesome little dive bar! Live local music, decently strong drinks, and cheap PBR. Had a great time!
Since I'm 18 as of writing this and not legally aloud to drink, this is a great place to come for live music and even play live music if you want. That's me on the right of the first picture. Just come down and have a good time.
The Tin Roof is Awesome! Great sound, killer bands (Rocket 77 and Anergy played the night I was there), great bartender, and killer food from their kitchen!! There is nothing I would change about this place... It is the Perfect Dive Bar.
My wife and I stopped in here on our honeymoon and had an absolute blast! Friendly people and the bartender was great!
Service is top notch by friendly bartenders, cute little venue is perfect for entertainment, they also have outside seating
If you want a break from the bougie Charleston tourist bar scene go here. It’s a punk dive bar, but the people/crowd are inclusive and nice. We didn’t meet one rude person. We went on Sunday, comedy/kareoke night. The comedians were local talent. They were earnest and forthcoming about their lives.
Great place for music!!! most of the bartenders are great!! The one who works on Sundays katie is totally disrespectful .She barely could stand up, was aggressive towards us and other people. Other bartender had to help her put orders in,due to how messed up she was…Not sure if this is her normal be
Went for the Spicy Saturday Drag Show - had an amazing time!!!
Beautifully grunge the space is small but absolutely inviting. There's a comfortable open patio, dope wall art, classic bumper stickers all around the bar. Of course the stage is the center of the show. Great for intimate performances, pits, and club vibes. Plus it's easy to load directly from behin
One of my favorite local dive bars. The inside is charming and quirky and the staff has always been friendly. One of the few places that still hosts local bands. A small but important detail is that the ladies bathroom has always been clean, and they usually have feminine care products available.
Omg.. this place is a hidden gem... we had so much fun..
Over the last 20 years, this place has not changed a bit. You can still get cheap beer and see above average bands on the weekends.
Tin Roof is a dive bar with cheap drinks, interesting décor, and lots of locals. It reminds me of the bars I visited in college, and even the drink prices are a throwback to the mid-2000s. I've been here for a comedy show and to enjoy drinks at the bar, and they also host drag shows and live music.
