Pretty good takeout, sizeable portions
Most everything I get here is pretty good Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork, Shrimp Lo Mein, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Mongolian Beef. prices are decent, short wait times. convenient location. My main complaint would be they should add pineapple, peppers & onions to the sweet and sour dishes.
I’m not sure why this place got so many negative reviews. The food was great, service could have been better, but we were there on Christmas Day around 5:30. Very busy with the pick up orders and walk-Ins. All our food was hot, fresh and full of flavor. The hot & sour soup along with the wonton egg
Overall the food is good. The wonton soup broth wasn't as good as others I've had but was OK. The wontons themselves were almost entirely gummy wonton wrapper with little meat inside. The general tso chicken was flavourful and had a nice chicken wing /pork rind flavor almost like they cooked it in t
We got takeout here on Thanksgiving! They were fast and the food was delicious!
Not sure what is up with all the bad reviews, but I absolutely loved my meal. The wonton soup was amazing, so was the orange chicken and lo mein. No complaints here and will be ordering again! Best to go Chinese I’ve had in Charleston so far.
I had this delivered late on a Wednesday night and everything was really good. I got the hibachi steak and it was excellent, with nice, tender cuts of steak. I was impressed, as it all tasted very fresh, it didn't have that leftover/cheap/oversauced taste you get from some Americanized Chinese place
Ordered delivery through DoorDash. The food was hot when it arrived, which was great. All was very flavorful. Only downfall on food was the pork fried rice was a bit oily, but still flavorful. Downside: DoorDash was way too expensive. The order was $50.00 for all the food. DoorDash cost us a b
Great American Chinese food for a good price. Especially for being on King St. always recommend this for people.
They were super busy with orders, but our to go orders still came within less than 20 minutes at 11 pm! The food is phenomenal - by far the best Chinese food I've had in Charleston and, so far, my life. The honey wings were especially delicious, and the wontons! And the rice is amazing, too. Wontons
Great customer service. The food was amazing. After the renovation, the place is beautiful.
Really good food and very fair price. I originally was going to order on Grubhub but looked at the menu on the website and saved about $10 ordering directly from them. The only complaint is that there was no confirmation after placing my order and I ended up calling about 40 minutes later to make su
Ordered the simple Sweet & Sour Chicken combo and hibachi rice with a side of honey sauce. :) Chicken had a good crunch and the egg rolls are always crispy too! I find most places to end up soggy with grease.
I go to New Peking regularly on my lunch break and order the same thing over and over: General Tso's chicken. The food is good, and there's plenty of it for the price. If you order it delivery, however, you may want to use a 3rd party app or something. If you call in the lady working the phone ten
