Stars Restaurant-rooftop & Grill Room - Charleston - Photo album

We hosted our wedding reception in the vintage room at Stars and they made sure it was a perfect night. The food was INCREDIBLE. It was absolutely raved about by all our guests. The room was gorgeous, and the staff allowed us to come early for setup. Our server was amazing and efficient, and ensured
Great place for a great dinner would definitely go again. Atmosphere: Really well done. The lights are stunning, and the entire place was simply done beautifully. They really tried to pay attention to details, including hooks for handbags under the bar which is hardly ever a thought! Really nice to
Nice friendly - and very competent staff! We could not get a table but eating at the bar was fine and fun. Food was very delicious and well prepared. We had the steak. Recommendable!
We reserved a private room for a bachelorette party dinner for 14 women. The food and drinks were great, and two servers assisted us throughout our dinner. We opted for a prix fixe menu. Our options included two salad choices, steak, fish, and a vegetarian option. We also ordered appetizers for the
The smoked Ribeye steak grilled to perfection on a wood fired grill is one the best steaks in Charleston and priced reasonably including 2 sides. The presentation for the iceberg wedge was terrific. Housemade apple crisp dessert and the incredible coconut cake/strawberry shortcake topped off our mea
We were a party of 6 who came on a Saturday night. Even though we had a reservation, we still had a wait a bit. Bummer that the rooftop was closed too. The food was good but for what it was, a bit overpriced. Overall a good place for dinner but there are better options out there.
Great little spot for a drink. We stopped here to grab a drink before dinner and it was a nice spot overall. There is a full bar on the roof and I got the Lavender Lemonade, which I absolutely loved. Being outside on the roof was really fun, especially since the weather was lovely. The view was n
Great ambiance! The main courses we ordered were SO GOOD. The oysters were good, but not worth the $$ in my opinion. The drinks were spot on. If you love coffee for sure get the espresso martini for dessert! We headed to the rooftop for another round of drinks. Lots of room to move around and see th
Chef Pope is AMAZING!! The menu is perfect by keeping it small and there were plenty of choices. The "frogmore" chowder was creamy and delicious topped with a perfectly seared scallop. I adored the preserved duck salad! The apple gave it the right amount of sweet with savory. My Ribeye was one of t
Such an awesome experience! The staff were super warm and welcoming the entire visit. The octopus was surprisingly tender and some of the best we've had. The apple salad was very well balanced with the goat cheese and fruits, and so refreshing. The flank steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned beaut
We ate here for dinner on a Saturday night. Our waitress was excellent and very friendly. The food was also really good. I had the prime rib rare and they did a good job cooking it that way. The bloody Mary was good too. I can't comment on the rooftop as we sat inside. I would recommend this place f
Really nice place! Parking was hard because it's on a busy street. They have a nice bar and seating area upstairs for when you're waiting for your table. The food was so tasty. Would definitely recommend and come again. I strongly recommend the lobster and shrimp toast appetizer!
We visited Stars twice while we were in town. Once for drinks on the rooftop and once for breakfast before we left. The rooftop atmosphere was great & everyone was having a blast! Not too much of a dancing bar, but a good place to hang out for drinks. The restaurant downstairs is a little more expen
