Coast Bar & Grill - Charleston - Photo album

Great service and atmosphere. Wish I could say the same about the food. I had the low country grill, which was good (actually the corn puree was excellent), but the potatoes in the hash were substantially undercooked. The same could be said for the mixed vegetables my wife had. Worse, though my wife
This was a nice place. My food was not the best. I got the sea food Alfredo with noodles peas, and my shrimp was not cooked all the way. The scallops had no taste, and the sauce was not bad, something I won't be reordering, I had to ask for bread. I did have an appetizer of their oysters, which was
We had a lovely dinner! Fresh seafood, excellent service from Nick, and the location was great for an easy walk to other attractions. We had thr Caesar salad, jalapeno cornbread and Mahi Mahi Catch of the day. Everything was delicious, portions were great and dinner was paced nicely for a great dat
Justin was our waiter and did an awesome job!!! That being said the food was so fresh and delicious. So good that we could only take a pic of the aftermath! My lady loved the blood orange margaritas. We had the surf and turf, jasmine rice, andouille hash, shrimp ceviche, and the calamari!
Grilled oysters with manchego were pretty good. The fried shrimp was delicious. The grits were very peppery (too peppery) and dry. I added the butter from the bread and it helped a little. The green beans were beyond spicy, very heavy handed on red pepper flakes. Yuck. The cocktail was super yummy.
Outstanding! The Drum was full of great flavors and is a great choice. We also had the grilled swordfish low country style (the cream corn on bottom was great with fish)with pineapple salsa! It too was really delicious! The blood orange margarita was very good and the key lime pie was very tart( cou
First visit. Went solo and bar seating was full so sat at the communal table (which is a rare but useful feature). Service was good, food was excellent. Started with calamari which had a tasty dipping sauce. The Shrimp and Grits was excellent in all ways: presentation, portion, and flavors. Finished
Good food, good prices. I had a fantastic salmon on etoufee with a side of red beans. The salmon is parked on top of this freaking jalapeño cornbread that has been grilled. I don't know what else to say about that. It's special.
Scallops were fantastic. I’d cuss if this wasn’t a review. So good! Mashed potatoes and vegetables were a great compliment to the scallops. Key lime pie was fresh and good. Our service was exceptional.
Our first night for our party of 3 in Charleston and our hotel recommended this place. We loved the vibe right when we walked in. We loved the open kitchen concept and watching the staff working in the kitchen! So much fun! Reilly was our server and she was wonderful. Very friendly and professional.
The restaurant was a little hard to find at first, because it’s in an alley, but it was so worth it. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt and pleasant. We had reservations, and were seated right away. Get the Southern Peach Mule and Shrimp & Stone Ground Grits. The shrimp are huge and
7 of us were in town for a girls’ weekend. The Coast was in a great location and a fun casual atmosphere. We started with a few drinks. The peach mule was good. The old fashioned sounded a little more cherry but it was pretty much a normal old fashioned. The mussels appetizer was outstanding. They
Coast… PLEASE bring the honey mustard cashew-crusted grouper with basil cream sauce back! It was soooo good! (Literally wanted to drown in that sauce…..) Scallop and shrimp ceviche was great. Servers, Anna and Vince attentive and did an excellent. So good we came back twice! Highly recommend!
