Chickenbutt Donuts

Visiting from Pennsylvania and saw this place on the side of the road and decided to make it our breakfast choice of the day. Did not disappoint at all. Donuts themselves were amazing and had a slight crisp to them which was phenomenal. The toppings we got were also all great and not overly sweet. So many choices to choose from but got great recommendations from very helpful employees.

What in the world just happened? All I wanted was a breakfast treat for my family's first week in Chapin. Then there's this place. "Chickenbutt". I am one of these northern invaders around here and, I admit, the name did make me cast a squirrely side-eye... Never again. Never again will I question the ability of a bakery to approach, or surpass, the quality of The Best from my hometown. My heart and my mind are open; I am a free man. Chickenbutt Donuts is world-class. Thank you to the genius of this operation; the, "Subway Subs" shop of child-like joy. Disclaimer: while it is true that the time to try this is now, it is also true that "now" will definitely not be the time to skip your insulin or fish-oil supplements. Best donuts in SC! Not only are the donuts amazing, but the owners are incredible people and we love coming in for a chat just as much as the delicious donuts! The Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup donut and the maple bacon are my favorites, but everything I’ve tried has been fantastic! We drive 35 minutes each way for these tasty treats and they are the only fresh donuts I know of that taste just as good or better the next day!
