I have come here many times for seafood. The whitening and catfish are great. The sides such as greens, fried rices, and French fries are delicious. The hush puppies are good too.

Delicious food at decent prices. Wide variety of food. I had the foot long crab cake sandwich and it was only $11. Perfect for a quick stop or takeout.

The food is really really good! The ladies in the front are really nice! I can almost say I've tried almost everything but that fish and a shrimp and their chicken!

The fried trout and catfish were excellent--crispy (not too much batter), hot, with good portions. I enjoyed the tender collard greens and tasty potato salad, though I wish the portion of the potato salad was a little bigger. The hush puppies had great flavor but were cooked slightly harder than I prefer. However, the trout was so good I came back the very next day for another order. I'm looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

My favorites are catfish platter and steak and cheese. It’s a small pick up deli costs around $10 for a meal I believe is pretty decent. What do people expect from here? Five star hotel quality meal?

I'm from DC. Grew up on Chicken and Mambo sauce. Moved to VA. Had to drive back to spits in SE DC for Chicken and Mambo sauce until I found this place. They have it. Better than 99% of spots in DC or MD. The owners are also much nicer than most of our carry owners in DC lol

We went here purely for the variety of seafood -- I hadn't had catfish for too long of a time. And then i was pleasantly surprised to see the list of sides which included many of my southern favorites (I couldn't ignore the fried okra). They have standard subs too along with the seafood subs and platters.
My only complaint would be the frying batter is too heavy and could overpower the taste of the fish. But I still think I would return because it's a nearby non-chain place to appease my love of seafood.

First time visiting and ordering. I heard about how good it was and wanted to give it a try. I ordered fried catfish platter with a side of mashed potatoes and collared greens.
I will keep this short and to the point. I was pleased and satisfied with the portions and the taste of everything, even the tartar and shrimp sauce.

Simple "no thrills" place but tasty food.
While most restaurants have had to raise prices across the board, this restaurant has kept prices very reasonable.
Not easy to find affordable seafood in Northern Virginia. If you don't mind it being fried, this is a place to check out.
