Best South Indian Biryani in the DMV area. Would recommend their weekend only Special Thalapakattu Biryani.
One huge concern is that all of their steaming hot dishes/curries are served in plastic containers, even the boiling hot soup which tastes great.
If you are worried about toxic stuff getting in your food take your own containers.

Overall the food here is hit and miss.
When we tried their food for the first time back in may the chicken sukkha , poori bhaji and dosa was good less oil , dosa was made less crispy as requested.
But during out last visit in Dec couple of days ago as it can be seen from the photo the chicken sukkha was in a pool of oil which was really disappointing. I would request the management or owner to please take a look into this.
While we also had a positive experience where the staff was happy to change our dosa order as accidentally someone bumped into it which can be a possibility here due to space constraints.
Overall its a decent place to visit if you wanna try dosa etc and are near costco chantilly.

Another great find in our new neighborhood!! We had a perfect start to dinner with hot, soft, and tasty idles with delicious Chutneys and sambar. This was followed by an amazing Kovalam fish curry that was spiced just right and satisfied all flavor taste buds in the mouth. Great first meal here. We will be back for many more !!😊

The food was authentic. Finally happy to find a place that makes you feel like home food. The taste was great and authentic. They do catering also which was interesting to know. No complaints about the food taste or the portion size. Only suggestion for them is to maintain the dine in place a little better as they are having a big crowd everyday.

Husband drove 1hr and 15 minutes away to satisfy my pregnancy cravings for South Indian vegetarian food today. I don’t usually eat South Indian food so I wasn’t sure about what it is that I was ordering when we got there. We ordered Masala Dosa, Vada Sambar, Mango Lassi for my husband only and I purchased Diwali Ladoos. The dosa was huge and perfectly crunchy and stuffed with generous amount of potato filling: the sambar and the coconut chutney were great accompaniments to the dish. The vada sambar was equally delicious and had generous portions large enough to share with my husband. We both enjoyed his mango lassi (mango yogurt drink). The ladoos tasted fresh and homemade. We had plenty of leftover to bring home with us. The atmosphere is humble and unassuming. Bathroom didn’t have napkins to dry hands with. Still it was relatively clean bathroom. The food on the other hand outshines and more than makes up for the atmosphere. I can’t wait to try other food items should I have craving for South Indian food again. Too bad the restaurant is so far from us or I would go repeatedly there. Price is reasonable as well.

Of culture clientele, 5% cash discount, order at counter like takeout place. This food is flavorful. Lots of spice chunks and whole chili peppers. Dosas have slight fermented taste. Skipping noodles next time and going with dosa and curries. Counter guy answers all questions asked about food. Yello book pick

Hole in the wall kind of place offering delicious south Indian food in Chantilly. Tried chettinad chicken and Andhra cut mirchi, food was very tasty and spicy. Will try again while in this city.

Was googling for some South Indian restaurant near chantilly and found this place . The food and overall experience was ok . I thought of giving a 3 star but bumped it upto 4 .. actually a 3.25 adyar restaurant . Service could be better . Ambience wasn’t that good . Tables were close to each other and hardly any space to move around .
Food wise it was ok. Chutneys weren’t that good . I liked kal dosa and chick curry . Chilly parotta was average . Cheese dos was good . Wish the chutneys were a bit more spicy/ tangy and had some salt in it . Overall a ok experience . 3/5 but bumped it to 4 !

The atmosphere and vibe is definitely South Indian. The menu is complete with all the favorites. The salt lassi changed the game for me! The fried Idli changed my life! Lol great service and wonderful food. Stop by and support your local South Indians!
