Maverick's Wood Grill

Fantastic place for food n drink! Was not quite sure what to expect however the strip steak I had was perfectly prepared! Had an old fashioned that was spot on as well. A few decent vegetarian items for my partner as well that weren't just the basic veggie patty burger or salad. Excited to go back to try other items!

Wasn't impressed with this place. The manager was rude right from the start, the server was very pleasant and apologized for the manager, but that set a bad start to the meal. Menu looked good with many different option, not just burgers, but the sandwich I ordered was sort of bland (Bahn Mi). There are signs all over the parking lot to keep your voices down since you are close to houses, so does not seem to be a good place for groups to go. Would like to have tried more of the dishes but after this experience we will not be back.

This was my 1st time trying this restaurant. It's tucked right in the middle of a neighborhood. I ordered the Banh Mi sandwich (with no bun for GF). I can't even begin to tell you how delicious it was. I'm a foodie and this was a 10! The meat is SO flavorful then they top it with a mouth watering sauce and pickled veggies. I also tried their spicy mustard wings and truffle fries. Seriously, you have to try this place!! In addition, they have a great drink menu and Austin was such a top notch server. I'm definitely going back to try other things.

We have been enjoying Mavericks for many years, and just wanted to share how wonderful our dinner experience was this past s Fri night. We were greeted upon entry and confirmed our reservation, then seated within a few mins. Our waiter joined us immediately and became a frequent visitor to ensure any interests were met with a friendly and helpful approach. The smoked old-fashioned cocktail was superb, the jalapeño cream cheese wontons accompanied by the breaded fried cauliflower (oh my god, incredible) and then my Nashville hot chicken sandwich was super tasty. The staff was very attentive and engaged, the drinks and food were very timely, and overall we had a great time. This is how you deliver a memorable restaurant experience. Keep up the great work, we'll be continuing to enjoy many more visits as a bike ride pit stop this spring/summer. Thank you and cheers.
