Great BBQ by MN standards, not quite as good as Firebox but close. Really liked the bacon. Brisket was very tender but a bit lacking in flavor, but the sauces remedied that. Would return again if in the area. Ate at a nice park along the river about half a mile away.
First time here. Friendly staff.Excellent food. Got pulled pork sandwich. Potato salad and Wedges. All tasted great. Cant wait to go back and try other stuff
First time trying this place. Ordered the ribs, brisket, pulled chicken and pulled pork. All the meats were amazing. Unique sauces, some I liked, some weren't my type, but they have something for everyone. Mustard BBQ with the pork was amazing. Beans were some of the best I've had. Slaw wasn't my style, but still decent.
We ordered the 2lb. meal, which was far more than 3 of us could eat. I love smokey BBQ. I've wanted to open a BBQ restaurant, so I understand the challenges of running a first class place. I do not appreciate everything being pre-cooked. The pork spareribs lacked seasoning and grilled/smoke flavor. The brisket was originally done properly but the meat was dry and chewy. The pulled chicken was mediocre and a bit bland. The beans were excellent from a homemade meat recipe. The mashed potatoes were good. And the Mac & Cheese was alright.
My friends call me anorexia which is annoying however if all my meals could consist of the Cordon Q I would be ecstatic. And to the young man that was working with the Dope MPLS hat. Keep spreading the positivity. I told ya my NY hat was sick. Hahahaha
Q Fanatic BBQ & Grill makes Famous Dave's look like a joke. The flavor of the sauce, the pork spare ribs, even the red beans and rice was superb. If you're looking for meat so tender it slips off the bone and well seasoned sides to compliment that meat look no further. Don't settle for less, this is the place.
