Steak 'n Shake

Had such a positive experience with a friendly restaurant team at this Steak n Shake. After completing our order I got our drinks. Bumped into a booth and sent my drink flying onto the floor. Asked for a mop to clean things up and the team member at the grill insisted that he help. It also made me notice how incredibly clean the inside of the restaurant is. The kiosk ordering system is efficient and the reduced staff is doing a wonderful job managing a high volume of orders. The food was great and we had plenty of space to take care of our 3 kids and enjoy our lunch. Thanks for your kindness and service!

I would star it less today. The food was not as good as it used to be, neither were the shakes. You order on a kiosk, walk to the counter to get your food and then they want to know if you want to leave a tip?! Nope. And it was very expensive The chilli 5 way was still excellent..probably won't visit again any time soon.

Ordered on a kiosk, not difficult, you can get all the extras you want per price which is great, but way, way, way slower than a human being. Don't care for it. I do understand that no one wants to work these days, especially with covid. Got our food rather quickly for noon time. Drive thru slammed full. Food was very good and very hot! Single combo with cheese fries for her, double with cheese, +lettuce, mayo with drink for $19.89 The one size drink cup at the self serve soda machine is 20oz without ice. It costs $2.49. I recommend you skip this and go to McDonald's and get the $1.00 for 32oz with lite ice.

They now have stations where you can self serve to order your food on screens, then wait to be called when your food is ready. One of our orders came out wrong, but the manager was quick to fix the problem. All in all happy with our visit. Took out one star coz the toilet is not so clean and smelled unpleasant.
