Taqueria Del Sol

Been going to Taqueria del sol locations for years. This location doesn’t often have very long lines like the other locations, and the counter service is reasonably quick. Good takeout service if you can get through to someone (it’s often busy). Food is decent, pretty standard Texmex. Only real complaint is lack of high chairs, adds unnecessary challenge now that we have a kid.

Very unreliable, counting on a Togo orders. Unfortunate to see how rude and cocky a restaurant management becomes when they become popular. They will decide when they want to answer phones to take orders and when they don't want to. In this pandemic, it's not acceptable to stand in line with 20 other people. THEY ARE MORE INTERESTED IN EXPANSION WITH MORE LOCATIONS BUT REFUSE TO IMPROVE THEIR SERVICE. Their attitude for phone orders before was a turn off already. The parking lot is a big mess. I'm going to have to disagree with other reviews about how convenient it is to place the orders. The original location might be the only place so far with better service. There was hardly anyone in line when I tried ahead of time for a Togo order and then saying experiencing heavy call volume to take phone orders.

They've taken quite a few precautions for COVID-19. Social distancing is in place with indoor dining suspended. Patrons are asked to wait for their orders outside, then there is some outdoor seating available for those who want to dine there. The food is yummy, we ordered 3 Enchiladas and a Fried Chicken Taco. Our favorite enchilada was the Pork with Salsa Verde. Best of all, the prices were very affordable! Definitely recommended.

Walked in, grabbed drinks at the bar and tried to get a table while waiting for friends. We have a 6 month old and a stroller and we were refused VERY rudely by the man seating tables outside to even so much as scope for a table without ordering food. Clearly struggling holding beverages and were declined to even sit. We were planning to order food just wanted to set our stroller up on a busy Saturday. We will absolutely not be returning, such disgraceful and disrespectful service for nothing.

Wonderful taqueria in Chamblee. Clean, efficient, helpful but most importantly the greatest tacos. My trifecta is usually brisket, fish y carnitas. My wife is monolithic and gets 3 brisket tacos. Every taco here is good. Outdoor or patio dining for safety. Heaters on the patio. There are about 4 locations and they’re all good.

The food is ALWAYS excellent. This is a great spot if you need a quick bite. You have to order first then sit down so if you want to be waited on you have to sit at the bar. Because this is the only place you can get waited on it is always full. This location is good for groups, and there is actually a couple of big tables. They have gluten free designations on the menu. They have a kids menu but no high chairs. I usually order 2 enchiladas which is enough to fill up on. Chips and salsa do not automatically come with the meal, so you would need to order them. They have inside and outside seating.
