Great Meal at Rose of India.. Dined at Rose of India for the first time last night and it was very good. Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka Massala, Samosas were very good. Wait staff were very pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I'll definatly be back.
When with a friend on New Years Eve. Neither of us a experts on Indian food but we were given a great tutorial by the staff. Food was very good and service was excellent. I would recommend for anyone who enjoys Indian food

Delicious. It doesn't look like much on the outside but the food at Rose of India is delicious. I had the Chicken Tikka Massala and my friend had the Tandoori Chicken and we both agreed that we would be back for more. The restaurant is older, and it shows, but it is still comfortable and the food makes up for the interior design. The service was superb and the waiters were more than friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant and because it is definitely the best Indian food I've had in Atlanta.
We had dinner here last night and tried the meat combo for two - absolutely DELICIOUS. Definitely some of the beat Indian food we have ever had. Highly recommended!
Spicy. Watch out for the habenero floating in your curry, it'll burn you pretty bad :)
Best Indian Food In Town. My wife and I were so sad when Rose of India was closed for renovations, and we were worried that the economy had caused Atlantans to lose this gem of a restaurant. Lucky for us, it has now reopened, and we couldn't wait to go back for the awesome food.
I will say that my experience with Indian food is limited, but we have never ordered anything that we didn't absolutely love here, and I never had any of the indigestion I've had just about everywhere else.
In response to some of the negative comments I've read, our waiter told us Rose of India is "under new management" and some of the recipes have changed. Some of my favorite dishes were a new recipe, but still delicious!
Make sure to order the butter chicken.

Nicely upgraded, it's still an old place with limited seating but much better than before. new management is just as courteous as the old ones. Food is a little different as expected but still good. If you want to get some decent Indian food without the noise and wait, go there.
By far the best vegetarian Indian food in town. I've tried many others, but Rose of India's sauces are the best. Service is quick and the staff is very friendly. Flavors are always consistent and I've yet to have a bad experience.
My husband and I loved the "home" food at this place. The restaurant is run by an Indian couple, and they both made sure that we were comfortable, and actually customized the food to our liking. However, the decor definitely needs to be improved.
I had a rough delivery experience last weekend- delivery took too long, but the food was amazing as always.
A few days later I got an unexpected delivery- they re-made my order and delivered it in time dinner!
There are a lot of restaurants out there that care about taking your money, but Rose of India showed me that they truly care about your experience and value your business. What an excellent display of customer service.
I love Indian food and I have been to several Indian restaurants in the Metro-Detroit area. I went to Atlanta for training purpose and I decided to explore local Indian restaurant so I went to Rose of India. This place is amazing. It is a small place managed by friendly Indian Couple and their food is just fantastic. I got the butter chicken and naan and it is one of the best Indian food I have ever had. The staff are super friendly and they customized my meal to my liking. They also recommended the spicy naan and I wasn't disappointed. I would definitely recommend this place to any one seeking great Indian food.
My wife and I love Indian and have lived all over the country. This is among the best we've had. Service is great, prices more than reasonable, food comes out piping hot, and flavors are unbelievable. I recommend Rose to all my friends.

I had the chicken curry lunch special, $7 for 6-7 large chunks of chicken, basmati rice, and a small fried onion blossom.
