Had the most relaxing and enjoyable time today at the Talking Tea Cup. From the second you open the door and smell the scones baking, to your first bite, your hooked. If your still not convinced all I need to say is Devonshire cream..its Heaven! Picking out your tea is always fun and when your pot arrives, you get so excited. The soups and salads are amazing. How cool is it to, try different finger sandwiches and enjoy them all. Finishing up with scrumptious desserts. Leaving feeling full and content and recharged. Gluten free, not a problem for this Tea Room. The difference is they truly add love to all that they offer.

My wife and I had a lovely time here. We are gluten-free, and made that clear during the reservation and once we arrived. Our server was extremely helpful and accommodating. We each got our own pot of tea, followed by a number of courses of delicious food. I was amazed that they were able to serve scones, mini-sandwiches, edible cups, and even dessert cookies and brownies, all gluten-free! I was even more impressed that everything was home-made and delicious. The space is small, which makes for a really lovely intimate environment. The decor is adorable and very homey. You feel like you're having brunch at Grandma's house. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We will happily be back for another visit soon!

My recent visit to Talking Teacup was an absolute delight! I had the pleasure of sharing a memorable bridal tea experience with my mother, sister, future mother-in-law, and future sister-in-law. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enveloped in a warm and charming atmosphere. The attention to detail at Talking Teacup is truly remarkable. The decor is enchanting, transporting you to a world of elegance and grace. The beautifully set tables, delicate tea cups, and fresh flowers added to the overall ambiance. The star of the show, of course, was the tea itself. The selection was extensive, catering to every palate. Each brew was expertly prepared, and the flavors were exquisite. It was a true journey for our taste buds! The staff deserves special commendation. They were not only knowledgeable about the teas but also exceptionally courteous and attentive. They made sure our experience was nothing short of perfect. And the food! The tea sandwiches, scones, and pastries were not only delicious but beautifully presented. It was evident that great care and craftsmanship went into every bite. To top it off, the bridal tea made for an unforgettable experience. The Talking Teacup went above and beyond to make this celebration special. It was the perfect setting to create beautiful memories with our loved ones. I can't thank Talking Teacup enough for making this bridal tea so memorable. If you're looking for a place to enjoy quality tea, delectable treats, and a charming atmosphere, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it for any special occasion or simply for a delightful afternoon out. Talking Teacup, you have our hearts!

I love the Talking Teacup! I moved to the area about 18 months ago and was so excited to see that this place is only about 1.5 from my new house. It is so charming inside. I love that the decorations change by season and holiday. The tea selection is large and delicious. The scones are heavenly- my favorite flavor on rotation is Strawberry Rose. Patti does an amazing and creative job at planning a menu. I treasure this establishment. At this point I’ve been to tea here more times than I can count and I’m always planning the next time I’ll visit! Thanks for having me!! Cheers.

Patti and he team did an AMAZING job hosting the bridal shower I threw for my sister a few weeks ago. The food & tea were amazing— far more complex & well thought out then standard tea food, plus everything was baked in house. The decorations and atmosphere were also unmatched, I didn’t have to decorate very much since the venue is already so beautiful. The planning process leading up to the day was easy and their preparation & execution made everything go by so smoothly. I highly recommend hosting your next event here!

My girls and I took my mom here for a late Christmas gift. We had so much fun. The food was delicious and they had an options for food allergies and for kids. They were able to accomodate all of us. The kids got pink lemonade and the tea selection is vast. I enjoyed our time there and the decor was so cute and homey. My girls really enjoyed it. The wait staff is ver knowledgeable.

A new owner. Everything was homemade! Delicious! The scones were unbelievably delicious and warm. The tea sandwiches were super yummy. The dessert was out of this world. So many teas to choose from. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I’m already making plans to go back.

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Talking Teacup. The setting itself is breathtaking. The history in the building adds to the ambience. They have a wonderful selection of teas. There’s definitely something for everyone. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Everything is fresh and scratch made. You can feel the passion and love that goes into each thoughtfully prepared dish. Not only was everything fantastic, but they offer a great value. This is the most affordable tearoom in the area, but I found their offerings to be the best. We will definitely be returning time and time again. I can’t wait to attend some of the special events they offer as well.

My sister took me there. The food was so darn delicious. We had high tea: tea (your choice), 2 different scones, we chose mushroom soup, 5 different, small finger sandwiches and a plate of 3 different desserts. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would love to go back.

Long-time patron under the previous owner and always delighted with the experience. In short—the new owners have made it better than ever with nods to the previous owner (Kathy’s) passion. The renovations have made for a soft, comfortable, & homey escape. Teas are available for purchase, and the tea menu is extensive and delicious. Breakfast was so tasty we booked for lunch next month as we checked out! Banana walnut scones and mushroom shallot frittata were highlights. A true place out of time, it feels like a mini vacation to visit.
