Captain D's

We did go inside to order instead of going through the drive thru. The outside was not very well lit at 8 pm. The inside was very clean. The staff was very polite and professional. The fish was cooked crispy but was still a bit greasy. The fries were good. (Not pictured because it was turned upside down in the car) was the okra, very under cooked and the Mac and cheese, worth ordering again. I gave them four stars, not because the food was really good and it was way over priced for the amount but it was being ran by young people and they had it under control, not complaining and doing a good job. UPDATE: Ordered tea and cheese sticks at the drive thru. The cheese sticks were hot and cooked to perfection, not greasy at all. Even received extra honey mustard without asking. Fast service and polite customer service. 3rd visit: Ordered at the drive thru. Chicken Fingers and fish was fried fresh. Both were crispy and fried perfectly. The fries were hot and fresh. Mac and Cheese was was excellent. Received extra honey mustard and tartar sauce without asking. Associate at the window was very polite. Update:Ordered Cheese, excellent as usual but no honey mustard. The manager Katy, very politely stated, the shipment was not regular on the trucks and they are not regulating how many are being handed out so they run out fast. So if you really want honey mustard ask before you order.

I only purchased 10 pieces of battered fish and a dozen hushpuppies to take home and it was over $25. My husband was making sides for the meal. It wasn't bad but I felt like we didn't get the quality for the price. The fish was like it had been sitting and the batter was very slick and had no crispy edges. I'll make a different plan for next time.

Simply the worst meal I have eaten from a Captain D's anywhere. The fish was especially terrible seeing that the bloodline had not been properly trimmed (something anyone who works for a Captain D's should know to do). Ordered corn and green beans as sides, but got a double helping of green beans (Who does something like this? Even IF you were out of corn, you could have put another side on besides green beans)! Centre needs good eating establishments and this certainly does not fit that description any longer!
