Penns Cave was amazing. We did not only the cave but the wildlife park and we had nothing short of an amazing time. The park employees were all very nice as were the tour guides. They did make you wear masks which was fine with everything going on.
It was a nice cave tour but it would’ve been a lot better experience if you could’ve understood what the tour guide was saying. Im not sure if it has something to do with his accent or something. In contrary, the female wildlife tour guide was very articulate and witty. There are no exotic animals but they’re all native to Pennsylvania such as elk, deer, fox, wolves, bear, and etc. A good addition would be a good-old Pennsylvanian timber rattler or copperhead snakes.
Fantastic and not expensive place for a family weekend getaway. The underground boat trip through the mysterious and fairy-tale cave works on the imagination and brings unforgettable impressions. This journey takes approximately 40 minutes and is worth each of single $ from $20 spent on an adult ticket! They state, that no matter of the months during the year, inside of the cave is still 52’F. Except cave, visitors can participate in treasure hunting - gemstone panning ( for kids mostly... ), and “fun activity for young and old alike, Prospector Pete’s Miners Maze features a 4800 square foot labyrinth, with plenty of twists and turns, an observation tower and four checkpoint stations” ... This last attraction, although it seems simple, is not the simplest ... 🤔 You can also see Native North-American animals such as wolves, bison, Texas longhorn cattle, foxes, bears, elk, whitetail deer, mustangs, bighorn sheep, and the Penn’s Cave Icon, the mountain lion on guided bus tour.
