Shanghai Cafe

From the outside this location looks dingy, but inside is the opposite. A very nice place for quiet conversations or small groups. Atmosphere is elegant, airy, and open. Staff is very attentive, sweet, and quick! Food is true to authentic flavors, complex, just delicious. They have curbside parking and a lot to pull into. The ingredients are fresh and the bubble tea/Thai tea is so good!

I've been going here since I was a small child. It recently changed owners and serves completely different dishes. The food is good, but not the Americanised Chinese food that it used to. The fresh kimchi is very good with sesame seeds and excellent flavor. It isn't very spicy. The fried rice is excellent and includes bean sprouts. I was not a fan of the rice and beef dish, but would order the kimchi and fried rice again. The phad Thai was average, and the chow mein was good according to my friend.The service was good, the restaurant was clean.

This place is terrific. The exterior isn't particularly eye catching except fot the big, rusty sign, however the inside is well maintained and clean. More importantly, the food is delicious. We regularly order their variety of Chinese dishes, as well as their Thai and bubble teas. The staff is very friendly.
