Stanley's Restaurant

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. This is an old place with a great vibe when you walk in. Super friendly woman on the phone and at the counter. I had chili, a bacon cheeseburger, and Quebec style fries. The chili was just OK. Lots of stock, just not lots of flavor. The burger was very good, no condiments required here. The fries were also very good. Great fries with great flavor. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.4.

This is a fine establishment and I would recommend everybody come and have food here because you’re sure gonna like it. They have delicious seafood specials at the end of the week including fresh lobster rolls the lakes of you probably have never seen before because they make a gigantic lobster roll for a very fair price. The hamburgers and hotdogs, forget about it you can’t beat them anywhere around

This place is an institution. You can smell grilled onions from the parking lot and they go perfectly with the smashed burger patty and pickles as the classic Stanley burger is a must get or the many multiple patties and toppings options. I also grabbed a chili dog and they pile on their homemade chili which is thick and delicious. Quebec fries are awesome and you just wish you had a bottomless stomach because the food has a great taste of nostalgia and just yummy homemade quality. The decor is amazing especially the old Seeberg speakers and it has a good mix of out of towners and locals. It's a Must try and must return, it's been there since 1932 for a reason because it is great!
