Your Pie

The couple in front of me left, i could hear her talking about how Filthy it was. The man said he could see in the oven and it was black. They just walked. I unfortunately wasn’t smart like them. My pizza was black on the bottom and there were spots of charcoal all over the top. I’ve never had this before on their pizzas. This place needs to closed for an entire weekend and freaking cleaned. I don’t even want to think about what’s crawling around at night. This used to be one of my favorite places, but it’s being run by negligent teenagers that just don’t care.

(3rd time attempting to get this to post) Okay, Let me just say this is the 2nd time eating at My Pie and the 1st time was really good. I'm sad to say this time however was not a good experience. The counter that they prepare the pizza on was atrocious. I had to ask twice for them to clean it before making my pie. The 1st guy I asked just looked at me and ignored me. Then he walked over to the side and talked to another guy. That guy came over and asked for my order. I asked him to please clean that area before he made my pie. He took a scraper and scraped everything into a trash can. The photos I took were AFTER I got the employee to clean the counter. There looked to be around 4-5 employees at work. But looking like they were hanging out on their phones instead of actually doing much. We chose a table to eat but found it dirty. The next few tables were the same. You could see the condensation rings left by previous customers had eaten and the tables not wiped. So much for sanitizing with Covid still going strong.

We (5) walked in around 7:40 not realizing they close at 8. We were waiting on 2 more people and I realized they locked the door. They let us order 2 more pizzas and let the other 2 people in our group in even though it was already 8. We did not feel rushed and they got the gelato out so the kids could have their dessert. Very impressed with our service and we were very apologetic for coming in so late and not realizing they closed so soon.

We went in and the whole place was in disarray. Not a single clean table available although there were empty ones they were filthy. Even the food prep area made me question if we should eat there. The straw that broke the camel’s back was the drink machine was nasty! Nasty! The floors had not been swept in a while either. The first few times we ate there it was clean. There were 5 workers on duty and although the place was busy it wasn’t packed. When we arrived the two pizza makers didn’t come and take our order for some time. My last issue with this place is they close at 8pm. You may want to change that to 10 during the warmer months.

I’m giving them 2 stars since their food is pretty good. However, their customer service is atrocious. I’ve tried calling them on numerous occasions, all at different times of the days, and not once have they picked up the phone. I do this because I usually order on their website, but they do not update it (like if they are out of something). So, what ends up happening most times is, I order a panini online. Then, get a call from them saying they are out of them. So, I’ve made a habit of always calling to check. And over 2 weeks, they have not picked up one single call. That is insane to me. I always give them the benefit of the doubt (maybe they are helping others), but I mean really? Not once in 2 weeks???
