Really great Mexican food in a relaxed environment with friendly service. The prices are right as well. Our service was attentive and friendly, although the margaritas left some to be desired. Deserves a visit for the eats and cozy atmosphere.

I would like to call it a gem but can't quite get there. ESS is a small restaurant with all your traditional Mexican American fare. I frequently see the same people eating there so you might call it a cult classic for those that have taken a liking to the place. If you go don't be impatient. The staff is super friendly but it's usually just the one watress manning all the tables so you may have an opportunity to catch up with family/friends for a bit before you get your order in and your food arrives. If you have not been before it's definitely worth a try.
