Easy 5 stars based on food and waiter Sammy. Only negatives were the hostess being off-putting by seeming irritated and we had to wait 20 min I be seated on a busy Friday night with live music. Otherwise amazing. Great beer selection, amazing food (a little too spicy), and excellent service. Sammy was the best waiter I've had in years. No exaggeration. We'll be back!

Impressive experience! Serious beer selection to please any palette. Food is fantastic. Ordered the (as per our waitress) whole, half fried chicken and was impressed. Our waitress (Hilary) was super engaging with a great personality and wit; the beers never seemed to get empty. Will be in the rotation of spots to visit when in Denver.

Great place to get a bite to eat and awesome local beer. Bartenders here are very personable and a great to talk to. Food here is really good as well. I would recommend the fish and chips, pork burrito or the chicken bites. If you're just looking for a quick snack with your beer the bar chips with the Fireside BBQ is a great choice as well. ***3/4/2019 Update*** New menu is out. The new Loaded chicken bites are amazing. The tap selection is on point as always. Get in and try the New Image Anniversary Effect IPA while supplies last. ***6/20/2019 Update*** Enjoyed the potato leek soup and crab cakes for happy hour. They have the Grapefruit Corialis from New Image and Spelunking from Outer Range. They are both fantastic IPAs. Stop in and check them out. *** 12/3/2019 Update*** Had the tomato basil soup today with a custom grilled cheese. Phenomenal! Chuck is an amazing bartender and always look forward to seeing him behind the bar. Friendly staff as always and amazing deal nner tonight! Thanks 2 Penguins 🐧 🐧! ***6/9/2020*** Back after lockdown and things are as they were in terms of service and food. There are some additional steps to follow and a mask is required but that is to be expected. Safety is the number one priority right now and I dig it. I had the steak sandwich and it was divine! Chased it with an Anniversary Effect IPA and it really hit the spot! If you were a previous patron I encourage you to come back as much as you can to support this local gem. Places like this are starting to go by the wayside. Buy local, support local! 😎 3/19/2021 Tried the new hangover burger. Very tasty! The bacon jam was great. Try it with the onion ring. No chin slappers here!

Wonderful restaurant and space! You can have a drink from their wide menu, and especially good beer selection with your meal. In Oct 2019 my husband and I had our wedding reception here. Dan was extremely helpful and organized. We had such a great experience and people still almost 3 years later tell us how great our wedding was. Thanks 2 Penguins for being around!

The beer is good but overpriced. The food isn't great, and the worst is I always get a ton of attitude from the wait staff. I asked for a medium burger, they said they couldn't do it. I asked if they would do it, the waitress said okay. They brought me a very rare burger. I asked why it wasn't medium. She said they didn't do medium. Pretty passive aggressive. Another instance I asked what side they actually cooked. All the sides were frozen except Brussels sprouts. So I asked for those which turned out to be a premium side that you have to pay for. I was annoyed you have to pay a premium to have them prepare food. Finally I asked for a box as I had to run to a meeting. The waitress forgot about me and started cleaning tables. These events occurred on different occasions. I hope people I know stop going there.

Great food and drink menu. Inconsistent delivery. For example, I picked up a recent takeout order and my Nacho Mama Burger was just a plain overcooked burger with a cup of nacho sauce. My order requested the burger pink and should have come with avocado and roasted jalapeño, which it did not. Disappointed.
