Great local restaurant on Grand Lake just outside St. Mary's, Ohio, with a great view of the lake and under new ownership. Food was great, and we especially enjoyed the half+ pound burgers with thick, fresh cut fries - So good!!
I've heard others rave about the fish-n-chips dinner and the pork tenderloin. Most all meal prices are $8-$10 and portions are generous! Service was friendly and efficient.
Renovations are ongoing, even new big screen TVs being installed the day we dined here out on the patio. Great overall experience!!

We had lunch at Behm’s today and it was absolutely delicious and our waitress was awesome! Great service, great food! We highly recommend!

Super great service. Food was good and prices are wonderful. View was nice but would probably be better when there are boats etc out on the water.

Nice place, nice view. They were short staffed so we got our food a whole 20 min after our two friends. It's nothing special but certainly wasn't bad.

HORRIBLE experience! Management team did NOT have the back of their employees! I felt so bad for the poor waitress who started 2 days ago and made a mistake!! We waited for 1 hour and 55 minutes and didn’t even get our tortilla chips and cheese! Instead of the management coming out and explaining what happegned, she came out and yelled at US because they’re short staffed! People don’t quit jobs, they quit bad managers! 😉

Horrible experience this past weekend. I understand staffing issues are a concern, but the treatment by the manager on duty was disgusting. The waitress on duty was left to fend for herself after only being 2 days on the job, as the manager was avoiding answering simple questions, taking a presumably long break, & hiding in the kitchen. During our visit we observed an elderly couple (family friend) sit at a dirty table & was left unattended for 20+ minutes. The manager on duty finally noticed them, asked if they needed their bill, when the elderly couple stated they were hoping to place an order to dine in. I am absolutely serious when I say the manager told them the wait was their fault for sitting at a dirty table. I noticed a close friend walking out after no service as well, stating he waited 15 minutes without service & that they were going to the Shack. In our time waiting for our food to be prepared there was another couple that I observed get up & leave citing lack of service.
To reiterate a previous review, our situation unfortunately was much worse. We arrived on site at 4:55p on a Sunday afternoon & seated ourselves in the main portion of the dining room, our drink order was taken & fulfilled within about 15 minutes. We placed our food order when the drinks were delivered roughly 5:15. 2 pizzas, a kids meal, a shrimp entree, & 2 appetizers. From there we waited for a long time, we noticed that the large table next to us who arrived 20 minutes or so after us was served their burgers and pizza. This was the first time we felt that something may be wrong. We waited a little while longer when another large table, who arrived much later than us, was served their large order. We approached the server around 6:25, over an hour after placing our order, to see if something had gone wrong, the manager interrupted the conversation with the server, instructing her to not tell us what happened, & said that our food would be out shortly. Apparently the order wasn't completed & sent to the kitchen, & the inattentive manager failed to notice a family of 7 waiting without food or drinks the entire time. A few minutes later our chips & salsa arrived. We tried to get the attention of the manager who blatantly was ignoring us on several occasions, all we wanted to know was how much longer the food was going to take. Our desire was to get it back on the lake, as that was the obvious purpose of the day. We tried to pay the portion of our bill, but the server stated that the manager would have to handle it, who again was refusing to leave the kitchen. At 6:45p we decided to cut our losses, leave the restaurant, and try to salvage a portion of the remaining lake day. We again attempted to close our tab, however at this time the food was starting to come out, when we explained our decision to leave, as half our party including the children were out in the boat, the manager began arguing with us on the dining room floor, creating a scene. I've never seen such behavior from anyone in the service industry.... ever.... I'm not exaggerating when I'm saying it was the worst dining experience of my life. I walked out of the dining room requesting the rest of the party to do the same. A few more words were exchanged before the rest of the party left, at 6:50p, 1hr & 55 minutes after arrival. There were many opportunities from the management team to correct this issue, however they failed to provide adequate service. We have been very patient with restaurants as we dine out frequently, and understand the manpower crunch going on right now. In my past experiences when an error has happened, (which lets be honest they happen) an acceptable resolution to this situation may have been for the manager to come to the table, explain the situation, provide a reasonable expectation on the food to the table, and offer the appetizers for free to make up for the mistake, this manager on duty instead felt arguing with customers on the dining room floor was a better path. We obviously won't be back, and I would guess many Sunday's crowd won't be either.

Won't be back EVER!!! Sat there 1/2 to get waited on, 1 1/2 hours food still not on table😮 Ordered simple food; salad, toasted cheese, hamburger, 9" pizza even. Reason given "Sorry, we have had a hard, busy day and we are tired" by a older guy. WHAT?!? Then don't seat people and close the doors😡😡😡

Fun, on-the-lake atmosphere, good food, vey nice staff in restaurant! Patio area in back allowed us to have our dog with us. Boats can pull right up in the channel and moor and then go in and eat. Reasonable prices too! If you enjoy being seated near the water, this is a nice hometown place to go. Behm's Lighthouse is literally right across the channel, but unless you have a boat or want to swim across, you can't access it from there. (And I wouldn't recommend going into the water currently, as there are signs everywhere saying that bacterial levels are dangerous.)
Pretty day to enjoy some food beside the water!
