Nice employees and they are usually pretty good with making sure you don’t need another drink & refilling them. Darts is always super fun they have 3 separate dart boards. Sometimes can get crowded and last time I was there they blared the soccer game so horribly loud we almost left.

The Break Room is such a fun, cozy, "laid-back," and unbiased style of adult social life that a person of ANY culture or income level would feel so very relaxed and welcomed. One special thing I loved most about The Break Room was it wasn't a lounge or bar FOR JUST KARAOKE --(like most of the "affordable bars" in Cedar Rapids). Instead, it's a bar wear it's guests can *Also, ENJOY THE SKILLS OF THE DJ as the guest are allowed to listen to the sounds of classic to contemporary R&B, mild rock & roll, even some country. The female DJ is very social, full of smiles, jokes, and a lot of fun. (The kind of DJ staff that makes a person WANT TO come back---even bringing friends.) Bar Maid is fast & very good at mixing drinks----(but doesn't smile.) I would've tipped her.

Have really enjoyed the place after the new owners took over. Fun, neighborhood bar to enjoy spending time with friends. Limited food menu, good selction of drinks and bar games to play. Karaoke on the weekends.
Update: slowly coming back from COVID, they practice good cleaning techniques, still can have a good time with your friends.

The bartender had my drinks ready before I even had the money out but she also knew if I wanted to something else instead somehow I don't know how but she was very professional one of the best bartenders I've ever seen. She definitely deserves a raise! This is a great spot for regulars if you need better service!
