The Coffee Emporium & Cafe

I'll give four stars because the coffee is really good and the breakfast sandwiches are tasty. But after leaving a 15% tip for someone handing me a sandwich over the counter, I don't appreciate being charged for a splash of heavy cream in my coffee. I mean, the place is called the coffee emporium, why would you charge extra for cream?? The younger ladies in the cafe are friendly but the older one who prepares the food isn't that cordial, unless she knows you from being a regular. I've gone there twice at the recommendation of the front desk clerks at the DoubleTree hotel three blocks away and I haven't been greeted. It doesn't take much to say hello to a customer when they come into your place of business. t's a good thing I won't let that deter me from having a decent breakfast but it would be nice to be greeted upon walking in. I also hope they get swiss cheese back on their menu, it's so much tastier on the ham breakfast sandwich than provolone. Thank you.

I loved going into coffee emporium everyday while working downtown. Now that I've been working from home I decided to try them on GrubHub delivery. Received my order and was kinda upset that my sandwich only included bread and a sausage patty. No cheese or egg. I called and was told that they do not offer delivery options. The order was sent to them incorrectly by GrubHub. So...first, why have you not called GrubHub to be removed? Second, we are in 2022 and delivery needs to be an option. Especially for those still working from home. Pretty disappointed.

Got an iced cold brew with heavy cream and sugar free caramel. It tasted like a mixture of fruity-coffee. It was not exactly my calling… Had already left and was half way gone and didn’t bother turning back for a different drink. Had to toss this $6 drink cause I couldn’t stomach it. Their website online says they have the best cold brew. Never again.

My girlfriend and I went here for some coffee and it turns out they have food! I got a breakfast panini and it was so good! Fresh ingredients for sure! The coffee is very good too! Also, they have toast that you can get on its own. I love toast and this is the first place I've found that has just toast! So awesome! ❤️
